I needed furniture removed the same day I called and they came that afternoon which was so appreciated. Great service - the guys who did the removal were very nice and professional, did the job quickly and cleaned up after. The quote I got on the phone was a bit lower than the actual price because the guys who do the job know best how much time and space is needed so just keep that in mind when booking. But the price was fair and lower than another quote so I was happy. Thank you!

I highly recommend this company. I generally don't write reviews but I felt I should write one as I was very happy with these two guys. They showed up at the time I requested even though they had to change their work time somewhat for me. As it turns out there was a lot more material to be removed then I had thought as some was buried but they removed it also which was great as I was on a deadline. Without a doubt I will be using their service in the future. Thanks again.

Lucas and Josh worked quietly, efficiently and speedily. They were always respectful and courteous. Arrival for estimate and later pick-up were always timely and with a call beforehand from each alerting to their upcoming arrival (which was always sooner rather than late). Norm

I found that this company was very reliable and professional. Both Lucas and Gordon were very helpful and courteous. And the price they charged was very reasonable. By using them I save a lot of time and other expenses, like renting a van to haul away my junk.

Due to my 87 year old mother's declining health she had to be moved into an assisted living retirement residence, and her house had to be sold. The buyers wanted a fairly quick closing date which meant clearing the house out in about a month. My mother and late father had bought the house in 1968 and lived there ever since, and they had accumulated a lot of stuff in those nearly 50 years that I and my wife needed to sort through and determine what needed to be kept and what had to go. We were a little overwhelmed by the task (I'm an only child so all of it fell to me and my wife), and contacted a junk removal service that seemed to have good reviews, but they were booked up until the middle of August 2017 which we felt was too late to meet the September 1st closing date. I then came across 1-800-Rid-Of-It and gave them a call - it turned out to be the best decision ever. They were able to start working on removal right away, and the teams they sent out were nothing short of terrific - they eventually took away 5 full truck loads plus a final 3/4 truck load, which was very close to the initial estimate of 5 full loads. The work was done by Tim, Lucas, Josh, Kevin, and Ed (I think that was everyone who worked on the removals - hope I didn't miss anyone) and without exception they were quick, courteous, efficient, and generally made a difficult experience much better. The cost was absolutely fair and reasonable, and there were no sneaky up-charges tacked on to the per-load price we were given - something that we've heard that other junk removal services are prone to doing. It was a great relief to me and my wife when they took away the final load with a couple of weeks to spare, leaving us with just the final sorting through the relatively small amount of what we had set aside as needing more time to look at. I can recommend 1-800-Rid-Of-It without reservation. And thanks again Lucas, Tim, Kevin, Josh, and Ed - you guys were terrific!

Fast, friendly and efficient service from Tim and Kevin at Rid-of-It Toronto, disposing of some clunky electronics I didn't need any more. So long and good luck, useless CRT TV set and VCR.

I was really impressed with the service we got from Rid of It. They fit us in on the same day that I called and everyone that I spoke to was very helpful. This was a bit of a delicate situation and Joshua and Brandon were not only fast and efficient on the job but they were also kind. They were able to do more than I had expected and for less than I had expected to spend. Definitely worth a 10/10 rating.

Scheduled an appointment. Ed & Josh came with an empty truck - took all the junk with them. Very friendly people. We will use their services again any time in the future
