Barry came and did some repairs in my basement. Everything was good. No issues. He came when he said he was going and got the work done on time too. My dad who works in construction thought the price was a little high, but I thought it was fair. Would recommend.

I do renovation work, but I call Barry when I need drywall done. He’s a specialist that was recommended to me years ago and really knows what he’s doing. I wouldn’t hire anybody else. He does a good job, I don’t have to babysit him and I can ask him for advice. He’s been doing drywall for a lot of years, so I would definitely recommend to anyone.

These guys did the mudding in my basement. They were really good all around. They knew what they were doing, they came on time, and they were in and out quick. Their pricing is surely in the ballpark of what others charge, but still high if you ask me. That said, I’d definitely use them again.

My brother and I actually boarded up our basement ourselves, so the drywall was already hung we just needed to find a contractor who would finish the job. It wasn’t easy to find someone willing to take on a small project like this, but Barry came through for us. He and his guys put the mud on for the finishing coat. They did a really good job and the price was great. I already recommended them to a friend and they had a positive experience as well.

I had a leak from my shower into the living room ceiling. A plumber came fix the leak so there was actually a hole left in the ceiling. I went on a website that has different contractors make bids for the job, which is how I found Barry. He did a great job, very professional, on budget, no extra unexpected costs. Would recommend.

I had some development work done in my basement and I thought they did a pretty good job. The crew made appointments and showed up when they said they would. There was a problem with the drywall manufacturer, which was unfortunate but not their fault. In any case, they were able to handle the situation well. I dealt with Barry from the company the most and he was great to work with. In my opinion, their rates were really good. Overall, I was satisfied and would recommend these guys.

I normally dont take the time to write anything on a blog, however I feel that Barry and his crews deserve some credit and a great review. They were very professional, fast and did a great Job!
We were in a bit of a hurry because we had a new baby come a bit early ( while in Dry Wall Stage!) Barry did a great job to accomidate ( literally no mess / dust and respectful of the situation)
Im very happy with the results, cost and the overall experience.

I had read good reviews about this company so I expected more from them. They did some drywall work in my basement and did an alright job. The thing is, I gave them lots of time, a month, to finish the work before I went on vacation. I told them if they can't finish it before I go, then we can start it after, he said they could finish it within that time and they seemed to wait till the last minute to do it all. Then when I got back, I noticed that the corners weren’t done right so I called the owner Barry. He wouldn’t come fix it because he said it was too late. The pricing was also a little higher than others, so I really expected them to be better than they were.

Barry and his team mudded and taped our basement, which we drywalled ourselves. Barry was very professional, we paid exactly what we were quoted and the job was finished in the time frame that we were told. Once the job was completed by Barry's team, he came back to ensure the basement was clean and nothing was missed. I would use this company again and would recommend them to friends and family.

My husband and I needed to get some drywall repairs done in our en suite in December. I read a few reviews on Homestar and contacted another vendor before Mudd Monkey. The first vendor responded back by email to see where we lived, but I never heard a word back. Once I contacted Mudd Monkey - Barry set up an appointment to view the work and provided a quote the next day. The work was completed very fast (right before Christmas). Barry was always punctual and the quality of the work was exactly what we hoped for. Thanks Barry for the great service - I would gladly call you again for any drywall needs that we may need in the future.
