I want to first begin that this is not my area of expertise. My wife and I had met with 5-6 other companies before finding Anthony of Deco Decks Inc. We are beyond happy with everything he and his team had done. Please consider using him as you will not be disappointed. Anthony met with us several times as our backyard deck (inherited through the previous owner) was falling apart. It also stood 2-3 feet off the ground which made the deck seem too high for our backyard and our elevation needed to be fixed. We wanted a new deck that was lowered, and had an open design to make the space more useable. The work and attention to detail was excellent. You can tell that Anthony is passionate about this work and to ensure the quality was everything. We ended up with composite and followed the suggestions given to us in terms of colour and product. We wanted composite and couldn't be any happier with the job. Being a homeowner, you run with many projects on the go. My wife and I have met several contractors and the 'bedside manner' and socialization piece in terms of interacting can be a hit or miss with some people in the service industry. I want to be very clear here when I say that Anthony is a respectful and professional person. He is not a loud/outspoken person. He did not add any pressure to our decision-making process, he never spoke down to us, and made every visit pleasant. Anthony made us feel comfortable and confident that he will not only meet our needs as his clients, but that he will exceed all expectations. Any hiccup we faced with our deck, he took care of it and made this transaction stress-free. I was looking to have a good quality deck work to be done at my backyard this summer. I interviewed 3 contractors in total. During the meeting Anthony from Deco Decks, I understood that his knowledge, experience, customer service and attention to details is far more superior than the other two contractors I met before him. Antony came prepared with various deck design options, stairs and railings options, pictures and deck wood samples. He educated me and my wife on the benefits of helical pile footings compared to concrete, and also explained various types of composite wood options. His specialist deck carpenter Dan did amazing job, and he came up with a fantastic deck, way better than my imagination. Anthony fulfilled all the commitments and supervised the project very closely. He managed invoicing and all the communication at various stages of the project right from booking till final quality inspection in a timely and clear manner with attention to every detail. It is great to work with such a professional company like Deco Decks who believe in providing great customer service. Anthony and his team has designed and built a fantastic composite deck to replace our old one which was in dire need of replacement.
Everything from start to finish was very pleasant. From the beginning Anthony listened to what we wanted in our deck and also advised us with a few recommendations to bring our vision to life.
He provided us with a comprehensive outline of how and when everything would be done but then his team went above and beyond these expectations and got the job done well before the expected completion date just in time to enjoy the deck for the summer.

Anthony and the team at Deco Decks were absolute professionals. They were organized and attentive, providing a detailed proposal with cost breakdowns and timeline. They communicated clearly throughout the process with transparency and integrity. And the work itself was great. They built our deck in a day, which exceeded expectations. It was everything you could hope for.

This may be the first time I've had a project completed through a contractor where everything ran smoothly, with no issues, and completed ahead of schedule. We initially chose Deco Decks because the project manager, Anthony, was the only individual who took time during the initial consultation to fully understand our (relatively simple) vision, as well as the challenges that made us look at getting a contractor to begin with rather than attempting to install one ourselves. He was very knowledgeable and transparent, and was careful to defer questions he couldn't answer confidently until confirming with his carpenter. The carpenter, Dan, was an absolute professional who worked diligently and carefully to build us a fantastic deck exactly to the plans we discussed while keeping us updated along the way. I also got some great show recommendations from him, and he went out of his way to repair our side gate as a bonus. Overall, the attention to detail that everyone we worked with shows in the final product, and we can't recommend the company enough.

This price was better than other quotes that we had received. While there was a guaranteed completion time of ten day our was done within four days. Anthony was very responsive in all forms of communication and would highly recommend them

It was great working with Anthony, he was clear in his description of what he would be doing, professional and highly knowledgeable.
Our deck is about 7yrs old but still feels brand new. Well worth the investment.
