Grout cleaning

They were very responsive to my request. The owner changed the service date 3 times. I accommodated but told him I am holding him to the third date since I can’t keep changing my own schedule. I said this nicely and calmly in an email. His response was to cancel with me completely.
Unreliable, untrustworthy and unprofessional.

Just for the record, I DIDN'T RENDER ANY SERVICE TO THIS CUSTOMER. Yes, it is true that I asked the customer to reschedule more than two times. And yes, I understand that this isn't the right way for one to conduct themselves or their business. But this customer informed me that he would not accept another rescheduling. Which is completely reasonable. Which is why I decided to cancel the appointment for this customer. I figured it would be better to cancel the service, so that I wouldn't risk having to reschedule again with this customer, and ultimately disappoint him.

Because of this result, the customer was highly upset, spoke harshly about my business, and gave me this review, in which he is entitled to. But I would like to say in defense of myself and my business is the following. I thought cancelling the service would be the right thing to do. I didn't want to have to reschedule again, and make myself and my business look incompetent.

With that being said, I have a extremely important personal matter to deal with. Without getting to personal, this matter is highly important and needs my upmost attention. I know sometimes this shouldn't matter to the customer, but being an owner operator, I have to be there to do the job.

Its unfortunate that things had to play out this way, but its alright. At the end of the day, I will learn from this situation, improve on my customer service relationship, and hopefully achieve the goal to please the next customer I serve.
