Moved into a house from a condo, had no idea about how to maintain a furnace and HVAC. Called D.A.D. because air in the house was dry. They came and took a look and then spent two hours teaching me all about my heating and cooling. They also replaced the humidifier which was very old and installed a smart thermostat for me to help control it all. I appreciated the crash course and candid advice. They even taught me how to fix things on my own so I wouldn't need to call them every time.

Daniel is very professional guy.
He suggested to me all the options that I can set for my water heater.
He advices me upon my requirements.
His work is clean and robust.
I would recommend him to my friends and family.

We needed a new company to do our furnace check-ups, and are happy we went with DAD HVAC. They contacted me quickly after my service request, and Daniel was polite and prompt in subsequent communications as well. I was pleasantly surprised that their price was the same as I had paid 5 years ago, and there was no pressure to upgrade our furnace or sell other services. We will definitely call them again for any future furnace requirements and would recommend them to friends and family.

This was my second time using DAD HVAC. Originally recommended to us through our neighbourhood social group, we couldn’t be happier with the level of professionalism, honesty and education that Derek has provided us. Our heat wouldn’t work and the usual checks didn’t seem to identify any issues. We called Derek and he attended next day. The communication to keep us posted on when he was coming was really appreciated. Derek diagnosed the issue right away but really took the time to explain what was going on, he showed me how the system was supposed to run and what exactly my issue was. As a new home owner, I really appreciated this. Derek returned the next day with the part and had our heat going in no time. Again, he didn’t rush or try to up sell me on a bunch of things (very different from the big companies). If you want an honest, top notch Hvac service, I highly recommend DAD. I’m happy to support a local independent company that provides a high quality service. I won’t be using anyone else!

We changed from electric to a gas stove so needed to have the gas line extended to accommodate our new gas stove. D.A.D. HVAC responded promptly to our request. Derek was informative which helped us with our decisions. On the day of install, they arrived on time, worked professional and kept our place tidy. They were friendly and professional. We had our BBQ gas line replaced. Derek went out of his way to set it up properly and neatly through our fence so if we need to replace our deck in the future it won't be in the way. Fantastic service!
