We were referred to Level Up by a friend of ours who has a very keen eye for quality and a bit of a handy person herself. We figured if they made her happy then for sure we would be as well.

From the beginning we could tell that Michael was very passionate about the quality of work him and his team produced and that he was all in to helping us create a space that was appropriately styled for use and budget. From Ashley who helped with the design and layout and helping us to select the best tiles, flooring and paint color ; to Alex the electrician who made an invaluable suggestion to ensure the pot lights inside and outside of the office space were aligned ( because we had a glass wall) . I know right, I certainly didn’t think of that but my, does it look great now that it’s all done.
The fact that all we had to do was visit a showroom and point and click to select fixtures and finishes was a welcoming experience as Michael and his team handled all the logistics of purchasing and arranging delivery of products. Garbage pickup and disposal occurred like clockwork, workers were in and out leaving the space in the best condition possible for the next crew.
This wasn’t our first reno and fortunate in both cases we were spared any of the horror stories we’ve seen elsewhere. No project is perfect however, what we appreciated about Michael and his team was the fact that at every turn their aim was to ensure that not only was the product beautiful but also the experience of working with the crew and the ease at which they handled changes.

When we look for companies to do any type of work on our home, we do a ton of research. We check all the usual online resources, read countless reviews, talk to friends, neighbours and seek recommnedations from other contractors. Yet even after all the due diligence, once the work begins we often feel a lingering apprehension about how the job is being managed, and just hope that things will turn out as promised. None of that was the case with Michael and Level Up. Right from the point where we were soliciting quotes, they were the only company that offered to come out to see the site in person before quoting the job, and while doing that Michael offered excellent advice about how we should arrange things based on his experience no matter who we decided to hire.

When we engaged Level Up, their designer came out to measure the space and she provided a 3D overview of the proposed layout for our review. She was open to any suggestions and changes we had, and turned around the changes on the drawings usually within a couple of hours at the most. Once we settled on our plan, Level Up provided a detailed timeline of the work and honestly, if it weren't for too many major snowstorms during our project, we could have set our watches to the schedule. The project management was outstanding, and things were done exactly as they were planned. The various crews that came in did professional, outstanding work—not once did Level Up send a "guy who does a bit of everything" to do any of the critical work. Even better, Michael was always quick to respond to questions as we went along and always made sure we were up to speed on the status of the work.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Level Up and we will absolutely be recommending them to everyone.

Level Up completed finishing our basement and remodeling of our master bathroom. Our budget was tight so we were provided a few options that saved us money by doing both areas at the same time and sourcing items ourself. From the design, material selection to construction start-up everything was smooth and schedules were kept to. Michael, the PM, was transparent about the contractual obligations which made us comfortable to move forward with Level Up. The trades were all great workers and ensured the work was done right as issues arised. Michael was always responsive and ensured materials were ready for the trades. We were very happy with the final product and finishing touches countinued to happen to Level Up's expectations and our satisfaction. With some of the horror stories out there, Level Up is one of the honest contractors. Will be recommending them to all m friends and family.

Michael and his crew did an amazing job on my basement from beginning to end! He made sure to provide me with a detailed quote. They had a designer to help me with my layout and a showroom for me to select my finishes. They finished my 600sqft basement with a rec room, bedroom, laundry and walk-in closet. They completed it on time and took great care of my home while they were doing it and they made sure that the space was cleaned after they finished their work.

The options that they provided me with for my finishes were beautiful and all included in the package. The workmanship on the tile was perfect, and I'm very picky with tiling work because it is so frequently done poorly. I can gladly give it my seal of approval.

Michael made sure that my questions were always answered and that the finished product would look beautiful and would be something that he would be proud to put his name on.

Even after the completion, he has always made his crew available to fix anything that has arisen after the house settled. I have already referred him to several of my friends. Go with Level Up, you won't be disappointed!
