Sergei replied to service request within minutes and arrived within 2 hours wearing mask and put on shoe covers. Diagnosed problem quickly, picked up required part and returned in about an hour to finish repair. Very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong and how he fixed it. Also gave me education on different manufacturers of appliance repaired and on another appliance needing to be repaired or replaced. Highly recommend Sergei and will use him again on future appliance repair needs.

I rarely write a review, but I thought Sergei was well deserving of one. I haven't used his services once but twice: for a fridge that worked intermittently and later for my washing machine; on both accounts, flawless execution.
He is meticulous, detail-oriented, organized, and methodical in his troubleshooting and repair approach. He takes his time to perform a comprehensive front-end diagnostics before proceeding with a repair. His focus is not on getting the job done as quickly as possible but takes his time to understand the problem before delving into implementing a solution. As an observation, he comes across as someone who takes pride in his work. You pay for what you get, and this gentleman is worth every cent.

My washing machine indicated an error 4E, meaning it had issues with the water supply. I was handyman for an hr or so however could not recognize or locate the issue.
Sergei determined the issue in less than 5 mins. It was a problem no diagnostic system could define... a flaw in the design that caused the plastic pipe to rub against the body of the washer resulting in a hole. Thus the inaccurate read by the sensor! Ha!

Cannot express how happy I am with Sergeys service. Our old dryer was out of order and i was about to buy a new one. I decided to try my luck and asked him to check it. Sergey easily determined the problem and fixed it very quickly.

Sergei is an appliance repair professional! He showed up on time, covered his shoes when entering the house. As he was determining the problem with our disherwasher he took the time to explain the cause as well as provide recommendations how to avoid it happening again. Having had difficulty finding someone to repair a machine that was malfunctioning, I emailed Home Stars. Almost immediately I got a response from Sergei . He was upfront about what he would charge. There was no service call fee plus an undisclosed amount for repair. He simply stated what the charge would be, excluding parts. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. Sergei arrived on time, performed a complete examination of the washer, reprogrammed the control panel and ran a load of laundry through the machine to check the success of his work.
Sergei is a very honest and personable man whom we would recommend to anyone seeking repair of electrical appliances.
