Eagle Construction Fences and Decks

We hired Zubiyer to install a new deck as well as re-do the stone walkway that goes down to the basement. As we saw a picture of the job posted on this website, we felt compelled to share our experience. The good: overall job was done satisfactorily. The bad: 1. One of the steps of the stone walkway was built too steep and posed a risk to my kids as well as my dog. Zubiyer made us wait 2 years to fix which he ultimately sent to another team to fix and charged us $500+. 2. The team was very messy. All the stones and earth that were moved were shoveled onto my lawn without any tarp to protect the grass (there are still rocks visible which is quite the eye sore) 3. The team did not rent a Portable Toilet and instead used the back part of my backyard (initial job performed the summer of 2021 during Covid so unfortunately my washrooms were not open to the public) 4. The site was never properly cleaned after the job which is appalling given the amount paid. 5. The replacement rocks brought are cheap and proper care was not taken to ensure they were level and evenly spread out. I could write more but we all get the point. Given the number of deck companies on Homestars, ensure you do your due diligence when selecting a provider of services.

Brian was fantastic. He fixed a section of our chain link fence and did a perfect job. His communication and his precision work was much appreciated. He did exactly what we asked for and I would highly recommend him.

We thought we only needed a few rotting boards replaced on our deck but when Bryan took them off we realized almost all the boards were pretty bad. Bryan gave us another reasonable quote and then worked extremely hard to replace the whole deck including replacing boards under an eight sided gazebo. He tackled a few unexpected tricky areas and except for rain delays worked diligently to complete the project. He did an amazing job and he is a gem among contractors.

"A person's home is their castle". Never is that more true when it is time allow an unknown person mess with our moat and battlements that are in need of repair. Will the repaired items match our expectations? Will the battlements be repaired on time before the attacking hoards arrive? Will unexpected costs drain the royal coffers beyond our means?

Despite my attempt to interject a little humour into the process, we all go through gut-retching stress about the primary concerns inherent in finding the right provider to resolve issues related to our home.

Eagle conducted minor repairs on our deck, stained with 2 coats and waterproofed. The entire process was completed in 2 days and at the price quoted. As far as expectations , with Bryan's assistance, the colour selected yield superior results to our original choice.

I am quite pleased with the company. Eagle Fence and Deck's staff built wooden horizontal privacy fence with 6x6 post in our backyard which greatly increasing the value of our house. The whole staff was very professional and cooperative. They paid close attention to what our expectations were and were easy to communicate with.   The finished outcome was quite amazing. Very happy with our new cedar deck. Brian and his team were very professional. They were open to our ideas in the planning process. The estimated start date was met exactly on time.
