Mike put up a new fence in our backyard and did an excellent job. He worked around old trees and massive roots to ensure the fence stayed straight and went up perfectly. Thanks Mike!

Im sorry for the late review. This job was done last season. I damages the fence and MCZ came to the rescue. I am so happy with this company and my new yard!! Needed to fence posts replaced as they had been damaged during a windstorm. I contacted MCZ and they provided a quote. They were at my house a few days later and completed the work in a short time. 10/10 would recommend.

Our fence needed replacing due to storm damage.

Mike and Cody were professional, quickly tearing out the old fence, and then working through the absolutely gruelling heat of the past week to get the new fence installed.

They adapted on the fly to the addition of a common fence with my neighbour, despite a delay due to getting the additional locates. Once the new locates were in, they quickly finished the additional 80 feet of fence.

They cleaned the entire area, leaving it looking nicer than when they started, and I couldn't be happier with the work done.

I've been with HomeStars for quite a few years and never had a problem with any contractors before until now. Not only did this company never show up when promised over an 8 month period to install a garden gate, but wanted to up the price of the invoice because of their delay and rising prices. My understanding is when a price is quoted and an invoice is issued with a deposit paid, that should be the price for the job. I'm very patient with contractors that are weather dependent realizing they need more time, but this went beyond patience. Nothing was being done so I requested my deposit of $200 back several times. Finally, today the deposit was returned to me. I'm totally disappointed in this company which had stellar reviews and that's why I chose them in the first place.

The staff was courteous and professional. The gate was taller than I expected even though I provided them with the measurement of the old gate. The quality of their work was outstanding. Unfortunately, I had not previously arranged for them to take away the old gate so they did not when I asked, and this was disappointing.

Very professional folks, highly recommend. They also made sure to tidy up the backyard and my house before they left. Came within a day or two of fixing the appointment, provided an online quote much better than any other competitor

Had a couple of broken fence posts, fence leaning. They had the 2 new posts installed in less than an hour. Would like to get more repaired this year from this company.

This summer, we decided to replace a 50+ year old chain link fence along the back of our yard. We received 3 quotes and Mike’s was right in the middle…he was however the only one who mentioned getting locates for natural gas and electricity. We thought - let’s go with Mike.

The locates were done and showed an underground power line running parallel within 2 feet of the fence as well as under the fence in one spot. So, Mike had to dig by hand. He followed his plan - day 1: remove the old fence and dig five posts, day 2: dig another 6 posts and set the 11 posts; day 3: finish the job.

There were the usual setbacks - weather and staffing. Mike kept us informed, left a clean work site every night and finished the job as agreed.
