A few of the shingles on our roof had blown away. Joyce and her team at Star Moon roofing were quick to respond. The repair the damaged roof section on no time flat and provided photos of the remaining portions of the roof, which thankfully were in good shape.

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to thank Joyce and the Star Moon Roofing team for an amazing job. I asked Joyce so many questions and went back and forth on the colour and throughout she was patient, kind, helpful, and understanding. The team were always professional and kept the area clean. The roof turned out great. Joyce goes above and beyond and helped us patch up our gutters, recommended getting our shed done to match the roof, and helped us with the vents on our roof. I highly recommend this company if you are searching for roofers. You will definitely be happy you went with them. They were wonderful! Joyce and her husbands team are amazing.

Drama free. Scheduled the date, a 5 man team lead by Joyces husband shows up promptly. The work was completely controlled to minimize damage or a mess. Updates were given with photos to my phone at critical pointscondition of wood, vents, drains, etc.

Work was completed amazingly efficient and quick, about half day. They cleaned up perfectly, not one nail on the ground anywhere, as they also use a giant magnet to sweep the grounds.

All in all.a perfect roofing experience.

I met Joyce from Star Moon I decided on this company. Both companies gave me a quote without pushing hard to force any decision, Joyce was the seller. And the same day I call to confirm they would do the work, she and her husband (who appears to speak less English) came a few hours later to complete the job. It was small but I know Im up for a new roof in the next year or so. I will be very comfortable with calling Star Moon to do that much bigger job.

After speaking with over 7 different roofing companies, I am so glad I found Star Moon Roofing!! Although their prices are competitive, one of the main reasons why I chose Star Moon Roofing over their competitors was based on their knowledge and openness to any requests or suggestions, starting from our initial consultation.
On the first day of repairs, I was notified of a bad case of mould on one section of my roof and was given the option to leave it or have the wood replaced. Initially, this repair would have raised the budget an extra $2-3k. However, after providing a suggestion on the materials to be used, we were able to knock the price of this repair down to $1,140 - labour included.
During the replacement of our roof deck, Joyce's husband and his crew noticed that our bathroom vent wasn't connected to our roof exhaust, which ultimately caused the moulding in our attic. When replacing the roof deck, they were able to reconnect the bathroom exhaust and added an extra metal vent on our roof for the moisture to escape from.
The entire job consisted of a roof deck replacement on one side of the roof, brand new shingles on the entire roof, leaf guards, installing 6 roof deck intake vents, an upgrade to our outtake vents, gutter repair, downspout adjustment, and a chimney flue replacement.
Here are a few reasons why I recommend Star Moon Roofing and why you should consider them for your next roofing project: (1) Joyce and her husband are very knowledgeable about roofs and are open to requests or suggestions throughout the entire process, (2) They remained communicative, responsive, honest and transparent from start to finish, (3) They were one of the only roofing companies that were willing to fix my broken chimney, (4) Their prices are very reasonable, (5) They did an amazing job at cleaning up the site - almost like they were never there!!
It was honestly such a pleasure working with Joyce, her husband, and their crew. I hope I don't have to call them again in the near future, but if I do, I would do it all again in a heartbeat!

This is a belated review. Our roof needed replacing, and we met with several roofing companies and got quotes. Out of all of them, we found that Star Moon Roofing felt to be the most honest. Their price was very reasonable, but it really was how they communicated with us that won our business. They were willing to answer all of our questions to our satisfaction.

The job was done in July of 2022, and was completed in one day. They cleaned up very well. They were willing to come back to do something that I thought was not completed. They did not haggle or argue and came back to do it at their own expenses. I later realised that it was assumptions on my part that it would be done as part of the job.

I whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone who are considering to have their roof replaced.

Recently had my roof replaced by Star Moon Roofing. It was indeed a pleasure dealing with Joyce who was very pleasant and quick to respond to my various queries.
On the day of installation, the crew arrived on time and the work was completed at the end of the day. The crew did a wonderful job in cleaning up.
My new roof looks good and i would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Joyce and team were great to work with, reliable and responsive. Their prices good. They completed the entire roof in one day, left the work area clean and provided pictures of the roof in progress and at completion.

A small job repairing/replacing a flat roof above a front porch. I had very poor to no responses from a variety of vendors (seemingly not interested in small jobs or quoting ridiculous amounts) until I had an excellent response from Joyce of Star Moon Roofing. She communicated effectively and regularly. She and her husband visited the site and while her husband suggested recaulking, I requested replacing the old materials and adjusting the slope for better drainage. I was quoted a reasonable $2800. I agreed and they were able to complete the work within two days of visiting.
The work site was cleaned and looks great.

***Edit 3 days later***: We had a problem come up after the job was finished that we don't believe was Star Moon's fault. They came back SO promptly, on a Saturday night, to fix it anyway. I was present while they were working and I watched them trying to be as perfectionistic as they could given the circumstances trying to get everything sorted out. In the end, they solved the lingering issue. Not only that, but they cleaned up the entire work area as if they weren't even there, after fixing an issue that was probably beyond their control, at 8:30pm on a Saturday. Beyond impressed with this company.

***Original review***: Had an amazing experience with Star Moon. Joyce was so patient and communicative over email and answered all my questions as I did my own research trying to figure out exactly what needed to get done. The rates were also competitive. The new roof looks great, very clean job, and they provided photos of each step. They also did the job ridiculously fast, like I couldn't believe it, but apparently they had a large team working that day. They also left the job site perfectly clean. I'd recommend them to anyone.
