DO NOT USE ROZON!

We had our roof redone by Rozon in October 2019. We were initially pleased, despite a few hiccups that seemed minor at the time (hard to reach Mathieu, no-show for the scheduled installation date without contact until we called them, delivery of our material on the neighbour's roof...). The price was good, and once the contract was signed, the job got done within 2 weeks.

Then, we had a leak in the master bedroom in February. The ice shield installation was not done correctly. While we were not happy about it, things happen, no problem, let's get this all fixed up.
That's when things went south quick. Rozon did fix the roof part of the issue, but they never took care of all the damage inside. Worse, they starting completely ignoring us soon after. At first, Mathieu kept pushing back the date to have someone look at it. No problem, we were in the middle of Covid, we understand, we can be patient. We even provided quotes to him from a contractor that we had come in ourselves (since Mathieu was too busy to have someone, anyone come assess the repairs). Still, he needed more time to see if he could get a better price from one of his contacts.

And then... nothing. Complete silence. No answer to any of our phone calls, text messages, email or written letters. One of his colleagues for whom we had a phone number even pretended to no longer be working there when we managed to get him on the phone.

6 months later, we're stuck having to take Rozon to court for the cost of repairs incurred. Not a crazy amount, but there's no way we should have to pay for it. At least we have everything well documented, so we're confident the court will easily rule in our favor.

On top of this I have a new roof that looks no better than the 15 year old roof it replaced, there are nails starting to pop off, the attic vents are not caulked on the outside and I'm forgetting some...

Long story short: if the installation goes well, his customers seem happy. But as soon as things don't go perfectly, ROZON WILL NOT COME THROUGH. Do yourself a favor, look up the few negative reviews you can find (here on HomeStars, Google, suspension of his accreditation on BBB). There's a clear pattern. Don't take chances with your new roof. DO. NOT. USE. ROZON.
