Furnace broke (-20c weather), called up Bobby early morning (seems like a nice guy when talking on the phone) and made an appointment for 5pm. Calls me around 5pm tells me he's backed up and to call someone else (who can I find at 5pm to come the same day?), tells me he'll 'keep me in a loop'. Texts me around 9pm that he won't come and that's it, no follow up the next day or anything.

Firstly, we would like to apologize for not being able to make it out to your home that same day. I understand your frustration, especially during these cold months. Unfortunately, in a time where everyone is suffering as a result of this weather, operating as usual is quite hard.
We ask for your understanding considering the fact that Bobby personally called you multiple times throughout the day to keep you informed and also even attempted to troubleshoot the furnace through the phone free of charge as a common curtesy since we were the installers. He did not by any means leave you in the dark and continuously kept you informed throughout the day. He even advised you earlier in the day to call another company as there are 24h services for emergency no heat calls because he suspected a delay in being able to make it to your home in time.
