Maydone Appliance Repair

The fridge was leaking periodically through the bottom of the freezer door and onto the floor. The technician came to check it out and arrived on time and the very next day. He ordered the part right there and I paid for it on the spot. The technician returned a few days later once the circuit board was available and installed it. He also unclogged the drain pan in the back of the fridge which I thought was a great preventative step. The fridge is now fixed and hasn’t leaked now after a few weeks. They have a 90 day warranty in case it’s not resolved at no extra cost. I’m very happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again!

Fridge was smelling. He took it all apart to diagnose issue. Nothing found. However very thorough. We paid for the call. Will call company again if ever any other issues.

Had a couple of issues with my Bosch Wall Oven and Fridge. Arkady from Maydone Appliance Repair was dispatched. He did a thorough job troubleshooting the problems in order to get down to the root causes. A part was required for the oven, so Arkady came back with it the next morning. The repair was carried out smoothly, efficiently and hygenically (Covid-19 protocols followed). I would definitely use this service again, and will recommend Arkady/Maydone to anyone in need of appliance repair.

Digital panel on the front of GE 14 year old GE profile gas range suddenly did not work. Tried many internet suggestions - still nothing. Went to HomeStars to find a repair service. Maydone replied to email query the next morning. An email conversation resulted in 2 technicians coming a day later. Fixed the panel and charged only for the house call. A few days later, I had to clean the oven necessitating taking off oven door. Finally got door back on but it did not close (lock for self clean was down & blocked it). Again searched internet and tried many things - door still blocked. Finally called Maydone back. Came within 24 hours. Technician opened door, touched the lock, closed door and it closed perfectly. I stood with mouth open (had worked on it for hours; took heavy door off a half dozen times). I really do not know what was wrong. Technician smiled and said he could not really charge for that! Leaking washer. Called Maydone, and they assessed the problem, ordered the parts, and immediately scheduled an appointment to fix the problem. Slight delay with arrival of parts, but otherwise perfect.
Very professional, prompt and transparent.

We have a high quality gas stove which is probably 30 years old. There was an issue with the pilot light. Maydone came to inspect and advised that they had to find parts would be back when the parts were sourced. Usually that takes forever but Maydone was back in a week and fixed the stove perfectly. They are responsible, efficient and a pleasure to deal with - 10/10!

Fantastic service by Mark, a certified gas fitter of my replacement gas range. Its tough replacing a gas appliance as the old appliance must be properly disconnected before the new one connected. Maydone provided a certified person to manage the job with the ability of disposing the old appliance at the same time. Mark was polite, on time, efficient and made sure the appliance was working well--even setting up the clock and ensuring the appliance was level. Highly recommend their service.
