From the initial call & appointment, to the required follow up call, service and invoice inquiry, all staff were professional and courteous. The Problem was fixed on second visit after it appeared again (it didn't show up when the first appointment happened), and they then backed their promise to honour their discount and service fee structure, not over charging for time and diagnostic.

Fridge leaking internally, especially when we put the water filter in.

Diagnostic visit scheduled, repair man said that we had compressor issues and it needed to be replaced. Asked for clarification as the fridge was still cooling. Told us fridge was made with a new freon system and the compressor would eventually fail. They assured us it was not the water filter.

We replaced the water filter and leak stopped. Meanwhile they provided us a quote to fix the fridge at $1,573.48 with tax.

Desription of work required below:

1) Connection to the sealed system of refrigerator.
2) Testing the system on leaks and malfunctions
3) Sealing leaks and necessary parts replacement
(Necessary Parts are Extra prices depending on
brand and model)
4) Sealing the system and charging with Cooling
Freon.
Labour Includes all gases used during testing and
Freon recharging the system as well as all
soldering or locking tool connections.

Was contacted by owner of company today:
- Took ownership for the mistake
- Proactively processed a refund for the diagnostic fee of $120
- Is shipping us a replacement water filter free of charge

I do appreciate the fact that they reacted to this and tried to make amends.

I felt that I got hosed on pricing. The tech pulled the umber off the top of his head to replace my igniter. 500 plus taxes and he took 20 mins to do it.

Great communication, responsive and respectful. Had two appliances that needed servicing. Easy quote process and appointment booking.

The technician came ,had the microwave running. charged $112 and left saying the microwave may last a month, a year and there are a lot of grease inside. Then I got a quote for $240.77. I was confused to have got the quote.
The Microwave stopped working within 2 days and when I called the office I was told the money I paid was for diagnosing the issue and the quote was for the actual repair. The technician, when he left, never mentioned that what he did was just a diagnosis and we will have to book another appointment, pay again and only then it will be repaired. He sounded as if it has been repaired as I came to believe that it was , as it was working.
Also the person I communicated initially via text, mentioned that the diagnosis charge will be included in the repair charge if I go ahead with the repair. But if I dont have it repaired I will be charged the diagnostic charge. It seems to me they have failed miserably explaining the charges , the technician failed to mention what he did when he came and the next steps would be.
I am terribly disappointed with the service overall, and giving a 0 rating.
