My wife and I completed a small Reno project on the main. We had Domenico and his team of professionals install a new kitchen and flooring throughout. To start, Domenico was an absolute pleasure to deal with as was the rest of the crew, throughout the beginning and end phases of the project. He is very knowledgeable and really does a great job simplifying what can be an overwhelming and complex process. Dom and Andy were always quick to respond and able to answer any questions and concerns along the way. They were honest and always did their best to accommodate our needs.
The design team really helped bring our ideas to life. They came to the house, took measurements and were able to provide us with 3D drawings of our kitchen and main floor areas. They even went above and beyond and customized the drawing to give us a clear vision of what the finished product would look like.
They have a variety of really great products and finishes that will work within your budget.
We choose a really beautiful grey laminate flooring with an AC5 commercial grade rating to take any type of abuse. The planks are really wide and have a very nice natural wood grain look. The flooring installers were able to complete all of this in a Day! They kept things clean as they progressed which I greatly appreciated.
Honourable mentions:
Gerry the tile setter came by to install tile in the foyer, powder room and landing to the garage. This guy is a true talent in his profession. I thought only graphic designers could be that passionate about their work. He levelled the floor with a proper skim coat and wire mesh. The next day he came and laid all the tile down. He was quick yet careful. The cuts were clean. The flooring overall came out great and we couldn’t be happier.
John was another rockstar. He came by to install the kitchen cabinets along with some new doors and trim. I marvelled at the way this guy worked. Everything was so carefully done with minimal effort. With renovations, a lot of us DIY’ers think these are projects we can easily tackle ourselves. Let me be the first to say how glad I am he stopped by. After seeing his craftsmanship and quality of work, I wouldn’t have done it any other way. Mind you, John is also one of the most resourceful professionals I have ever come across. John is extremely knowledgeable and was kind enough to share with me a few tips and tricks you just don’t learn in a book or online. A great reminder of why we hire professionals to do the job.
Aside from their work, they are simply great people and really fun to be around if you happen to be. Rest assured, you can leave the house keys with them!
I think this review says it all but if you are looking for even more assurance let me say this; I never quite enjoyed a Reno job as I did working with Dom and all the professionals that walked through our door.
