Excellent work! We have done many renovation projects at our house, but Tim and his team have been one of the best in terms of quality, professionalism, and communication to ensure our ideas are implemented exactly as intended. We are extremely pleased with their work and the results and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Friendly, hard working, efficient team! Arrived early and left late. High quality excavating job completed with an interlocking brick patio, that seconds as a drainage system with reservoir. Very happy I went with Tim and Oaks Home.

I’ve spent so much time trying to bring my backyard back to life. It’s always had issues with weeds and the grass just wasn’t able to grow because there’s a park in the backyard. I also had a new tree that started growing from animals bringing berries and seeds and I pretty much didn’t have any patio space. So every day I was spending hours just working on the weeds.

So I finally decided to get my backyard completely redone. I had an idea of what I was looking for and called several companies for quotes. When I contacted Oaks Home Services, I got a great feeling right away from Tim. He called me back right away and asked if he could come and see the backyard to give a quote. Based on that meeting I decided to go with Oaks. We talked through some ideas and he gave me different price points so that I could decide how I wanted to proceed.

The job was a challenging one because the only access through my backyard is through my house and I had to get permission for the team to go through my neighbour’s backyard and then ultimately pay for any repairs which I was fine with and luckily my neighbour gave me the ok.

Tim was so amazing to work with...he was always patient with all my questions and was very responsive. He always gave great ideas and his opinion on things that I hadn’t even considered...for example a flat stone vs textured. Ultimately I went with textured based on his recommendation. The job consisted of removing my old small patio and building a bigger patio, resod the lawn, remove a tree and clean up all of the rogue branches and remove the twigs, and put in a flower bed.

On the first day I also decided to get a new fence which wasn’t planned and Tim had to search for lumber. He didn’t get annoyed and began his search. The guys showed up on time at 8am every day and they worked with minimal breaks until 8pm. Such amazing work ethic! They also answered any questions that I had as they were working on different aspects. These guys work hard! And do such great work! You can tell that they take great pride in their work...it’s like they’re working on their own property.

I had read the reviews by others and it’s all true what people say about Tim and the team. I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I was with them. I don’t recommend many people but I would definitely recommend Oaks Home Services!!!! I LOVE my new backyard. It looks so clean, fresh, and amazing! People walk by admiring it. I’m now so proud of my backyard vs being embarrassed by it before. The part that I was the most worried about was the repairs to my neighbour’s yard but they also did a fantastic job repairing and replacing anything that the machines went over.

I attached a picture of before and the other three pictures are what it looks like now. A complete transformation!!! Now I get to enjoy relaxing in my backyard.

I know I probably said amazing so many times....but I really mean it....they are amazing and I’m truly thankful to Tim and his team for everything!

Tim and his team did a fantastic job on our driveway. They worked long days and finished the job quickly and professionally. Oaks Home Services provided us with the fairest price out of everyone we met with and got the job done beautifully. Pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Yuri and his team provided excellent service at a very competitive price. They completed a 500 square foot interlock patio from excavation to installation in two days. Since completion Yuri has personally returned twice to check on the work and make sure we are happy with the job done. Throughout the process he was always ready to answer questions and quick to return my calls. Finding a contractor in Toronto is not hard. Finding one that cares is. I would hire Oaks Home Services again without hesitation.

Great job by Tim and his team. Showed up as expected and finished a 40 foot fence in a day. Highly recommended.

Asked Tim and Yurri for quotes a couple times as I expanded the job from just sod to replace the interlock of the front landing. We finally booked the job but had trouble landing the date due to other jobs they had going on. Not great news, but I'm a patient person.

As for the actual job, I'm very happy with the interlock stone work. Even with some compromises to the design it looks great.
The main part of the job was to re-sod the front and back yard, and plant a bunch of trees and shrubs in the front.
All seemed great about the work until they got to putting sod down that seemed already dead (yellow) or was killed by being in the sun on their truck for more than a day. I would rather that they defer the work to a date that was better for getting sod healthy and rooted, such as end of season, or keep the initial date which would have been better for starting sod growth. They had to spend a second day on site to finish work, which I'm OK with, except that at the end, roughly 40% of the sod they put down looked like it would fail outright.

3 weeks of careful watering later, I still have grass in the front and back that is dead. Luckily Tim came back with a small crew to replace some of the sod, though again it seems like bad timing for hot, sunny days and somewhat shoddy sod laying work was another bad start for that grass. No matter how I look at it, I'll need to put additional work into getting my grass as it should have been.

I was very patient and polite, and provided details as to what I wanted from the work and while I was impressed with the stone work, I can't say I was entirely happy with the sod work. I should have denied installing the sod when I saw it, but oh well, job's done now.
I'm very thankful that they came back to try and fix the issues. It just sucks that I have to be just one of the less than stellar reviews for these guys because they're really keen to do good work, but in some places I don't see it.
I don't want this to come off as a bad review, but I'm just not 100% satisfied, and I'm also aware some of what happened is out of anyone's control.
I would recommend their work, but be careful when you schedule getting sod work done. I'm likely to bring them back for other work.

Tim and his team were extremely polite, professional and trustworthy. They worked long days to get the job done and consulted with me on my preferences all throughout the process. We are very happy with the quality of their work and they left the worksite clean. I would definitely hire Oaks again and will recommend them to friends and neighbours.

Oaks Home Service replaced 7 rotten fence posts for me-they were fast and efficient, wonderful service!!

I had a tree that on windy days was hitting the fence and was causing it to lean. Primarily two posts had become loose and needed to be replaced.

Yurii came out to provide the quote and all interactions were very pleasant and professional.

A two man crew worked very hard to remove the old posts. Including one cement footing that was particularly challenging, but they worked to get it removed. The new fence posts look great and where they re-attached the fence sections; i think they are better secured then they were before. Constantly checking level. You can see these guys care about the quality of their work.

When the fence fully needs to be replaced, i already know who i will be calling - Oak Home Services for sure!!
