I called Mohammed and he showed up at our house in a couple of days. I trusted him as soon as we started talking and he made me feel comfortable. He was extremely professional and provided lots of advice on the building permit process, as well as, what he would do to help us. We actually received the permit in about 2 weeks. I hired Sauzteq to provide structural engineering services for a home renovation project involving removal of a load-bearing wall on the main floor; addition of a new walk-in closet in the primary bedroom on the second floor; and addition of a shower and tub in the ensuite bathroom, which involved removing a wall. Mohammad arrived on time to assess our home and was very professional in the process. He provided engineering designs/drawings in a very timely manner and has made himself available throughout the process to answer any questions I had. He even offered to submit the designs/drawings to the City for approval for me! I am very happy with Mohammad's advice, expertise and help through this process!

Mohammad is an excellent Engineer. He helped us obtain a permit for removing a load bearing wall and worked with our contractor until the job was completed. From start to finish he was always available to answer questions and help with any issues that came up. Our contractor had trouble procuring the correct type of beam and Mohammad provided several innovative solutions so that the job could be completed correctly. I would highly recommend him without hesitation for any structural engineering needs.

We want to remove a wall to achieve more of an open concept in our home and need an engineer to determine the best way to have it done. Mohammad was prompt and very professional. We moved into a house where it appeared that load bearing wall had been removed. I researched a number of companies - a few came highly rated - and highly rated by Homestars. I contacted one company, and the engineer came to the house, advising ME to cut various holes in the ceiling. He eventually advised that his engineers didn't want the job! I then followed up on a previous referral from Homestars, also highly rated. Mohammad at SauzTeq had previously texted me, and called me. He came to the house and cut various holes in the ceiling. He was quite conscientious regarding the mess, and had placed a cloth down to catch debris. He explained everything and we agreed to move forward with architectural plans. He took measurements of all house levels. Drawings came quickly. We contacted a contractor He recommended, and everything proceeded quite smoothly. We have not yet proceeded to permits/construction at this point, but our dealing with SauzTeq has been quite effortless. We are entirely satisfied and relieved to have retained SauzTeq.
