Nordik Windows And Doors

We own a home in bloor west village. We decided to change all our windows and doors, which is a huge project. This project took place in July of 2022) We did our research and decided to go with Nordik.

Unfortunately this whole experience with Nordik has been a disaster. We are now in May 2023 with so much left for Nordik to do. Weve been very patient but the on going stress is something we dont want anyone else to have to endure. As a home owner Im sure others can relate we take pride in our home and thought we could rely on Nordik to replace our windows.

Instead once the deposit was given there was poor communication between sales agent and customer, late and delayed installation, poor workmanship, no protection of furniture or personal belongings from dust, damaging property, poor installation of doors and windows, still waiting for for a privacy window for bathroom, it took 3 visits to get 2 windows installed, designs on 2 front windows are still not addressed and much much more.

We did not want to have to write this review. As we understand that things happen and no one is perfect. However when Nordik starts threatening collections and leaning our home with so many outstanding issues thats when we decided to speak out.

From the start with Chris for our consultation and estimate to the installation of windows and the entire Nordik team were amazing and accomodating.

The windows are amazing! Installation was just perfection! Zorro and Sami did the installation for us. Very professional, courteous and strong attention to detail. I told Zorro he's a true artist with his work!!!

The installers Walter and Georgi arrived on time. They were very efficient with their installations. You could tell they take pride with their work. Cleaned up after they had finished. Very polite. They did not take breaks every 10 minutes to head outside and grab a smoke. It took them just 3 hours to do the installation. Sales rep Jennifer gave us a very professional estimate. Did not try to sell us something we didn't want. We received 3 other estimates and even though Nordik were the middle estimate we went with them. The company gave us constant updates on when to expect installation.

Initial installation in April of '22 for 2 doors went without a hitch. Workers cleaned up after themselves. Upon inspection a screen door latch on one of the units was the wrong one. Ordered a proper latch. It took three service calls to finally get the proper latch. Then we noticed the screen door was not aligned properly and couldn't be adjusted. A new screen door was ordered and still didn't line up. Worker said the door frame needed to be adjusted. Waited 'till this April to get that work done. Screen door now lines up but will not operate smoothly and continually jumps out of it's track when opened or closed. Definitely an inferior product

Installers were professional and efficient, worked cleanly and provided explanations when I asked. I couldn't be happier with the product.

Gino and his team arrived promptly when they said they would and did a great job replacing all our windows even the large bay window that came as a single unit!

They did a nice job with the finishes (trim, caulking etc.) as well.

Dedicated sales staff, very helpful with ideas on types and colour.
Waited for 5months, but we were warned of this in advance, so there was nos surprise. Dates for installation were kept.
The installers were efficient.
Love the window.

We had a great experience with Nordik, from Danny our rep to the in house dispatch staff to the finish installation completed by Toromon and his helper.
All went very professionally, on time, no surprises and the installation looks great, clean neat and tidy.
I wish all my contractors would work this well!

WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM NORDIC WINDOWS AND DOORS!!! WRONG COLOR FRONT DOOR WRONG SIZE PATIO DOOR. They lost the patio door had to reorder it took a year to get installed.
Many phone calls later. Annette was laughing on the phone. I was so upset. Never had to deal with a company like that before. I hope no one has to.
