Owen and Matthew run a friendly and knowledgeable business. During the last heat wave, my wife and I realized that our air conditioner was on the fritz. It turns out the freon had leaked out. The freon that had leaked was the old R22 stuff which you can't purchase in Canada any longer (banned).

Owen and Matthew highlighted the options for us with no pressure. My wife and I were so impressed that we decided to use Wamboldt to replace our air conditioner.

They arrived on time and were courteous to our needs. They wore PPE protection (COVID19), and were extra careful of their and our safety.

They worked quickly and well together. You can tell they know what they are doing.

They cleaned up without a speck to be found.

All in all, we were most impressed with them. So much so, that we're going to preemptively use them to replace our furnace (over 30 years old now) in the fall.

Great professional service. Owen and Matt were punctual, knowledgeable and friendly. They installed our new AC promptly when our old one died in the middle of a heatwave. They educated us about how to take care of it, and their price was very competitive.

The service was bar none - good communications leading up to the visit, prompt, honest, high quality and effective service and repair that saved us thousands of dollars. Highly recommended to all.

Last summer, Owen came out to do some repairs to our pool heater, so when our compressor on our heat pump went and our regular repairman was unavailable, I knew who to call. Matt quickly came out to assess the situation and give us a quote. The work was completed within the week, and we had a quieter, better functioning furnace. Both Matt and Owen are conscientious individuals and observed all the necessary safe guards during the pandemic (booties, masks, and gloves, as well as distancing). They left a clean work area....you wouldn’t even know they were there! Matt even followed up a couple of weeks later to see if the system was working well. We would highly recommend Matt and Owen to anyone needing heating or air conditioning assistance. They are now our furnace guys!

Our air conditioning stopped working at the start of a heat wave. We had heard of Wamboldt and their excellent work from a family member. They did not disappoint. Excellent service and reasonable prices. We were back up and running in less than 24 hours.

I've moved into a new condo that gets the morning sun. I need to run the AC for a few hours in the morning even when the temperatures outside may not be that warm. Owen knew the solution and sent Matt to install a Fan Cycle Control yesterday. Matt did a great job. Was professional, always wore covers on his boots, explained everything that he did when he was finished and physically distanced the whole time. The site was clean when he left - great guy and certainly knew his stuff. Will be using Wamboldt Heating & Air Conditioning for all of my maintenance and upgrades from now on.

My fireplace insert was installed by Owen and Matt in late October. We were impressed by their professionalism and courtesy . On
Christmas Eve the fire went out and I called Owen. He said Matt was in the area and would drop by . Matt arrived and made a quick fix on his way home. My husband and I are seniors and we can't get over how caring and prompt they were. Kudos Owen and Matt!

The converted a traditional wood burning fireplace and installed a new gas insert. They are very professional in their work, efficient, hard working, clean and extremely polite.

We have recently moved into an executive condo. The company that installed our air, HRV, air cleaner etc. was unable to determine various issues we were having. Owen, the owner, came and within minutes saw various issues we had and fixed them or in one case gave us a letter that advised the supplier that our equipment was faulty, and that escalated a replacement the next day. During install the builder's contractor had damaged the air conditioner, forgot to hook up the air cleaner which we installed for my lung issues. They also had two hoses that should have been in loops done in triangles causing all kinds of noise issues and leaking of water in our laundry room. This guy knows what he is doing. He is extremely careful in your home to protect things and not damage your floors etc. He is prompt coming to see your issue when you call, usually the same day if it is urgent. His professionalism is amazing.
I must tell you I first got to know Owen in our home before we sold. He was then working for a company near Ottawa and decided to go on his own. We had issues with another company at that time, and started using the company he worked for. In the end, our file read "Owen only". That's how good he was. When we sole our home, the inspector that came said in the approx 40 years he had done these inspections, he had never seen a used furnace as clean as ours. He even called me to go and see the inside and stated "it looks like new". I always knew he did a great job but was a bit blown away by that comment. Luckily he is still in the Ottawa area and owns Wambolt Heating & Air Conditioning. This is a very strong personal recommendation from years of amazing service and expertise from this gentleman. Give him a try and you'll never go back to another company. Even in our new condo, people have seen how he did our BBQ hookup and had their own issues with the builders' contractor and have used him for their new hookups and to inspect and resolve issues for them. I truly hope that you understand that this guy is one in a million. EXCELLENT!!!
