Benny was amazing to work with and his work is top notch smooth. He always was in constant communication and completed the job earlier than expected. We had removed a wall in our living room and Benny finished the drywall along with popcorn removal of the whole first and second floor. He committed to fitting us into his schedule despite timing issues, and was a true man of his word in keeping to his timeline, not rushing but rather taking the time needed to do a superb job, and being an all around friendly and good humoured guy.

In terms of the work, what can we say - our ceilings look brand new and amazing with the popcorn removal, smoothing and new paint job. It really is night and day! We were unsure of ceiling paint colour and wanted to do something different than the base flat white ceiling paint - we discussed with Benny who gave us some recommendations based on the work he’s done, and after some thought we ended up going with a white we were happy with.

Benny takes his time and is a master of his craft. Above all, he is an honest and honourable guy who we very much enjoyed working with. I hired Benny to replace my stucco ceiling, repair some damaged walls and do some repainting. I really appreciated that he was a one stop shop for these services. The job took a bit longer than planned but Benny held the line on his quote.
Benny was constantly juggling many priorities at home and on the job but still managed to maintain great communication and he kept his eye on making sure that my project was completed to my complete satisfaction. These are messy (dusty) jobs but I was really impressed with the cleanup that Benny did after the job was done.

We can’t say enough about Benny. We purchased a home built in 1991 with popcorn ceilings. We knew we had to paint the home before moving in and also considered removing the popcorn ceilings. After much contemplation, we decided to have Venetian Plaster in some areas. As novices, we did not know where to begin. We were told by the gentleman doing the Venetian plaster that we needed a “level 5 finish to the ceilings.” We had no clue what this meant. We found Benny online and saw his perfect reviews. It was a blessing to find him! When he finished the work, it was so beautiful, that we were emotional! Just so everyone is clear, Benny is a “Master Plasterer” trained in Ireland. His workmanship, professionalism, attention to detail, care and love for his work, and terrific personality has contributed to the beauty of our home. Found Benny through HomeStars and based on his reviews got in touch. He's a stand-up contractor and was pleasant to work with. We hired him to smooth out painted popcorn ceiling and paint 1300 sqft. He did a fantastic job with the ceiling and was flexible to work with on painting and a few final touches like putting up lighting. He also worked to patch and prep propertly and painted around switches and outlets.

I've already referred him to a couple friends and would gladly work with him in the future!

Wanted to do a face lift on my 1st floor. Contacted Benny and he came out and provided me a reasonable quote. He was very much professional with my logistics plans as i also had my floor vendor and baseboard vendor in on the same project. Benny is the best! We got quite a few quotes to remove the popcorn ceiling throughout our whole house and went with Benny for many reasons. He is such a nice guy and listened to all of our concerns carefully. He went the extra step to put plastic throughout our entire home to avoid mess and when he left, the house was spotless!
