Originally, I had called sun solar to come in and fix a receptacle in my bathroom. Because I have aluminum wiring, Evan and I discussed my options of having my receptacles and switches throughout the home upgraded along with the electrical panel box, and I am so glad I did!! What they pulled out of my walls was unbelievable!! Thank you to both Evan & Kyler for doing such an awesome and professional job from beginning to end!! I will certainly pass your name around for those needing electrical work

We were having a new furnace installed by Knight Plumbing and Heating, and wanted our Nest thermostat connected. The installer told us that we did not have the appropriate wiring for the Nest to function property. Knight Plumbing and Heating contacted Sun Solar & Electrical to run the wire. Kyler from Sun Solar & Electrical was at our house within 30 minutes. He provided a detailed quote and completed the work in a timely manner. I would recommend Kyler and the Sun Solar & Electrical team.

I had been interested in having a solar power array installed on my home for some time, but I never really gave it any serious thought until Sun Solar and Electrical came out to do some work on my furnace.

Evan was very knowledgable when outlining the kinds of solar power systems they had previously installed, and explained very well the technology and how it could reduce our energy bills. I was curious, so I invited him back to do a full solar assessment on my home.

When he returned, he explained how he would do the assessment, what products they would recommend, and that they would generate a report detailing the cost of the system and the energy savings I could experience.

We talked back and forth for a few weeks over email, and Evan patiently answered all my questions and clarified a lot of information for me. This exchange really built my confidence in Evan and Sun Solar and Electrical and really showed that they truly are professionals who believe in the products and services they offer.

After signing the contract, it took a few months for all the components to arrive, and once all the pieces were delivered they scheduled the install. It took only about a day and a half to get the system up and running, and just like that my home was being powered by the sun.

Evan handled all the paperwork, from the electrical permits, to the microgeneration application, and even facilitated the provincial rebate, which for the $5,200 I spent was about $1,450. After signing the contract I didn't have to do any more than sign the applications. Sun Solar and Electrical handled everything on the back end.

The system has thus far been outperforming Sun's assessment, generating more electricity than their estimate for this time of year. I have had absolutely no issues with it in the three months it's been up and running.

I've been looking forward to working with Sun again on a few other projects I have planned, and have been recommending them whenever a friend asks about my solar array. I have nothing but good things to say, and will definitely be calling on them again.

Although I've used Knight for years, this was the first time I used their electrical division. I had a number of smoke/CD detectors and new light fixtures to install as well as a couple of small problems to try and resolve in my new house. Two of the fixtures were chandeliers and had a 2 story ceiling to deal with. Carefully and safely, Evan managed to maneuver a huge ladder into a small and awkward space and install both fixtures like it was an everyday occurrence. The rest of the job was easier but no less professionally done.
I'm delighted to know I now have an electrician I can count on as part of the Knight team!

Evan did my whole house electrical inspection, including replacing the two smoke alarms with two smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors. I found him to be very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in answering my many questions. He offered suggestions (including costs) for a surge suppressor for me to review, and having felt no pressure to make that decision I decided it would be a good investment in the long run.

I was impressed by the emergency service offered by this company as well. As one of the alarms went off without due reason, Jeff came on the line providing me with step by step instructions in how to shut off these off from the breaker box. His sense of humour helped me to de-escalate my fears and frustration and he returned that evening and replaced the defective alarm and it remains quiet now. Overall, I am very impressed with this company and would recommend them to my family and friends. Honesty and integrity is what I look for in a business and I found these qualities with this company and look forward to future work to be done by them.

We have just installed a Goodman AC and are delighted with our first experience using it. The electrical installer Evan was very knowledgeable and helpful, giving advice on our needs for upgrading a 42 year old electrical system, arrived on schedule and left the area in good condition. We have found all the the company reps to be excellent.

Evan was the definition of professional and friendly. Here on time, done exceptional work, provided free advice on current system, and just an all around great guy.

The work was done with precision and careful attention. I had a close friend who is also an electrician come over and have a look and he said it was done exceptionally well.

I need some more work done this summer and it will definitely go to Evan and his team.

I recently had an air conditioner installed by Knight Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioner/Sun Solar & Electrical. Evan completed the electrical portion of the install and I was extremely happy.
