I would like to share my experience with this company.

In January 2022 we hired this company to fully gut and renovate two major bathrooms in our house.

My experience with the business owner was very disappointing. He continuously ignored us when we spoke to him about issues suggestions or thoughts for designs and he was never on site. He would say we were behind in projects and said he ordered supplies for our bathrooms but they were never ordered. I called the store to find out.

The deal was we would pay half and then the other half upon completion however every week because of his personal financial issues he continuously harassed us to pay weekly so that he could pay his employees.

We asked him numerous times to let the guys know to be careful with both exterior doors going into our house as they were brand new from Lowe's. We showed him the damages, dents and scratches all over our doors he kept saying yes he'll order and buy us new ones and never done this since March 2022 ongoing.

In May 2022 he completed the last bathroom and I reached out to him the very next day to let him know that there is no caulking around the walls of the shower and it continued to leak. It still continues to leak as he keeps saying he's coming to fix it but will not honour his side of the bargain.

I am very disgusted and embarrassed to have put all my trust into this company.

Do your investigation when you are going to hire someone.

Matt (DGC) was recommended to us by a neighbor. I saw the work they had done and asked who did it. They came highly recommended. All the work DGC has done for us has been very professionally done. His workers come prepared to work each day and will work full days until everything is complete. Both Matt and his men ask throughout each project if everything is as you want and expected. We hired Donaghy General Contractors to replace a deck and fence. The team was thorough, qualified, courteous and incorporated minor adjustments when requested. The completed deck and fence exceeded our expectations and the products used were excellent. On completion of the job, the work area was thoroughly cleaned. Matt and his team were thorough, professional and "knew their stuff". We recommend Donaghy General Contractors.

We had Donaghy construction completely renovate our basement and we could not have been happier . Honesty , hardwork, and good communication is what you will get with this crew . Highly recommend.

We have had the pleasure of working with Donaghy General Contracting. I can highly recommend them for any job big or small. They were extremely professional and willing to work with my timelines to complete the renovations to our home and our outside oasis which includes our fencing and deck.

Matt did a great job with my home in Kanata. He did a fantastic hallway reno (added closets and removed archways) opened up walls and removed a closet wall to add cabinets. From start to finish he was on time, clean and tidy and did excellent work. I highly recommend Matt!

I hired Matt with Donaghy general contracting to fully renovate my house. Not only was the price more then fair but the work was remarkable. They were extremely professional and completed the project in a fast and efficient manner. The work was absolutely beautiful and I could not be happier!

Pocketed FULL PAYMENT on Nov 27th, 2017 and NEVER RETURNED to finish the job before winter arrived. Gables left open, Tyvek half done, blocking incomplete, roof left open to the elements... said he'd come back to finish... sometime... when he had the chance... and when the weather permitted. It's December now.
