I had the pleasure having MTEC Corp do electrical work in my basement. They came first to describe exactly where outlets, switches, and lights would be positioned. Afterwards, another day to do the electrical rough-in. And finally, they came to wire up the switches and outlets, while installing light fixtures. Everything was seem-less and exactly to spec.

I had a number of questions on the final visit. Odie and Eugene were there to answer every one of them, and even worked with me on the positioning of the final 4-way switch. They even described to me options I could pursue if later I changed my mind.

I was thoroughly impressed with the work, but even more-so with the care provided in walking me through the final product. Everything is holding up great and the basement couldn't be brighter.

Project: Demo of existing walkway/courtyard and removal of materials. Prep for new paver install. New steps to house entry. New electrical from garage to existing post lamp with additional outdoor outlet to lamp post. New interior switch with timer to courtyard lamp post. Separate garage switch added with timer to control new electrical box on lamp post. River rock, sodding and mulching.

Gianmarco listened to my wants and prepared a proposal and 3D drawings of the finished project for approval. Once contract was signed the demo of the existing courtyard commenced. The entire project from start to finish was 5 working days.

We hired MTEC to install a stone patio in our backyard. This was the second time we hired them as they built us a beautiful basement last year. I would describe MTEC as professional, respectful and reliable contractors. You could pay less for your project but you won't get the high level quality. As we weren't totally sure what we wanted for the patio, they were able to make suggestions based on work they had done in the past and the finished product looks awesome; our neighbours are envious! The team of Eugene and Connor were wonderful and a special shout out to Odesh from the electrical team, he was really great in hooking up the hot tub. The owner Gianmarco was great to work with. We had a few delays due to material availability but overall, we couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. Don't hesitate to hire this company, the strong reviews are real!

We recently had our 2nd floor bathroom completely renovated by MTEC who transformed it from a dated, dingy bathroom with an oversized jaccuzi/shower, vanity/medicine cabinet, and toilet to a bright, contemporary bathroom with a walk-in shower (glass panels), vanity/medicine cabinet. MTEC offered a very thorough service where they created a floor plan and 3D view so we were able to create a workable lay-out and see exactly what the new bathroom was going to look like. This was highly important, as there was limited space to work with and we needed to ensure that the shower door would clear the toilet and vanity when opening into the bathroom (it swings both ways). We bought the tiles, shower accessories, vanity/medicine cabinet, toilet, etc. from Home Depot which made it easy. Our home is almost 100 years old which resulted in a few unanticipated issues. There was also an issue with one of the shower glass panels (got resolved quickly) so the entire process took a longer than expected, but at the end of the day, everything worked out. I now LOVE showering in our new bathroom. Gianmarco, Eric, and the rest of the team were very professional, courteous, and hard-working. They all showed up when they said they were going to and were easy to deal with. I actually kind of miss them! I guess we'll have to bring them back to do that other bathroom. I have nothing negative to report and would highly recommend MTEC.

MTEC is a very professional company who we very much enjoyed working with. It was thankfully a hassle-free experience overseen by Gianmarco. They are a team of solid people who i felt really like the work they do - and when you like showing up to work it shows. They came each week Monday Friday consistently. Connor took the lead on the project and I felt he was really invested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. He worked hard to come up with clever solutions whenever little issues popped up (often with zero extra costs). Connor and Eugene are a great team and we would highly recommend having both of these guys work on your project.

We feel as though we got good value for what we paid. They are probably more expensive than average but with that I got the peace of mind that everything would be done correctly to code, no short cuts, and where other companies may try to charge you a little extra here and there, these guys didn't do that at all. They were also very accommodating with any requests we had throughout the project. Connor always had little chats with us to explain what was done and what the following few days would look like.

Gianmarco was a good communicator throughout, making sure we were happy and that everything was going smoothly. We now have a great space thanks to the team at MTEC.

The MTEC Corp team was professional right from the very start. We wanted a feature wall and a whole re-do of our bathroom. They came in and did measurements and then reviewed the design with us using a computer application. It gave us a great visual of the dimensions and overall look of the area. They followed up with us continuously to ensure our requirements were being met. We were constantly in the loop through the duration of the project. Eric is an extraordinary perfectionist and his craftsmanship is very evident of that. We are extremely happy with the end results and very grateful to Marcelo and Gianmarco and their whole team for getting this project completed to our standards. Highly recommended this team for their expertise and honesty.
