Contractor came in a promptly diagnosed problem with my water tank. Due to its age the bottom had begun to Rust out and slowly leak. He basically ran through the options for me and said there was little or no point trying to repair it. He gave me a detailed breakdown of his price labour and parts etc then asked me if I wanted to go ahead with it. I had figured that a replacement might be needed so I had done some comparison shopping beforehand. The quote he gave me was significantly lower than what I had seen so I felt confident going forward with it. He promptly went and got a 40 gallon replacement tank and was back within the hour. After that he drained my old tank completely and removed it and installed the new tank. He then did a thorough cleaning and it seemed like nothing had even happened. Within two hours the tank was already pumping out hot water and my wife and kids were happy again. I would highly recommend Ottawa Heating and cooling for their no nonsense estimate and quick service at lowest possible price based on my research. Would definitely refer to friends and family
