Petra did a great job cleaning the house and was very thorough. She was responsive and accommodating from the beginning when I was looking at getting a quotation to when the work was finally done. I would definitely recommend the company and will use them again when needed.

Petra and her team was both technically excellent and highly professional. They were on time, able to provide a pretty accurate quote before they came, didn't charge anything until they confirmed that I was 100% satisfied with the work, accomodated our need to use certain rooms and come and go as they cleaned. The house is SPOTLESS. They clearly are meticulous and they were also very specific in terms of what they were to do (in just 5 min we walked through the house together and they ensured they knew exactly what we needed for each room). Overall I couldn't really ahve asked for them to do a better job. Outstanding.

This gal should not be in the cleaning business. I can't even believe she would call herself cleaning professional. I overpaid for services and in the end the work was below standard. Who are these reviewers singing her praises? I fell for it and decided to hire her based on the great reviews but I so regret it. After charging me for almost 10 hours of cleaning a less than 1500 empty house (no dusting or tidying up etc) I spent hours cleaning after them. I'm still not finished because the place doesn't feel clean (kitchen surface area feels slimy etc). No deep cleaning and the floors were untouched. Granted she's super nice but don't fall for it - nice won't get your place clean.

Our plumbing company had to dig a 25-foot trench through the middle of our tenant's very neat and clean basement apartment in downtown Toronto. The plumbing replaced the faulty drain pipe under the house with a new one. The plumbing crew did a pretty good clean-up of the mountains of muck and rocks and dirt the surrounded the trench on both sides. But the apartment needed a first-class clean-up by a professional crew. I wanted to provide this out of respect for me tenant. Detailed Maids two-person cleaning operation did the job. They were even very good about changing our original time when the plumbing did not finish as fast as they had predicted. My husband and I both desperately hate cleaning, so when I checked Homestars and saw Petra's awesome ratings I had to give her a call.
I was worried she might not want to clean our place because we have a large dog, but she was totally fine with it.

I met Petra for the first time for 5-hour deep clean to show her around and when I got back I was thrilled. She is now coming every 2 weeks and we're actually doing a lot better at keeping the place tidy in-between. Sometimes she brings her associate Kerry with her and they both do an amazing job. Petra always follows up the next day to make sure we're happy and she's just lovely to deal with.

I found Detailed Maids on Homestars and chose them based on the great reviews, particularly one about how Petra noticed details that others would miss. Petra did not disappoint! She arrived early to re-clarify the work that needed to be done, before starting.

I was worried 5hrs wouldn't be enough because my subletter left the place a mess (she had 2 cats) but Petra was quick, efficient and did a great job removing every trace of cat, which I'm very grateful for, because I'm allergic. I've already recommended her to my mom for future cleaning needs!
