Claudio and the entire team at Restauration 1 have been absolutely amazing. A true example of what proper service should be like. Honestly when dealing with stress due to damage a proper human approach is so very welcomed.

This company was fantastic! Our basement flooded and we needed emergency services. They were prompt and efficient. Insurance ended up being a nightmare and would not cover our costs, but paid out a meager amount instead. Unfortunately we couldn’t afford to have Restoration1 complete the finishing work (which we would have if we were covered). Claudio was very supportive, trying to advocate for us with insurance. Ultimately we didn’t win the battle with insurance, but Claudio was helpful in reducing the cost for us and even helping us get supplies at a good cost as we had to do the finishing work ourselves. We would not hesitate to call Restoration1 again, though we hope to not need to in the future!

We don't live in the property, but our basement tenant complained of mold appearing on the drywall of one section of an external wall in the kitchen. Our minds immediately went to worst case scenario, and we expected to be sunk trying to deal with a wide spread mold issue.

We don't have a lot of roots in Peterborough, and found Restoration 1 by chance on google. We had Claudio come in for an initial assessment, he gave us a reasonable quote for the exposure he could see. He reassured us that this particular issue could be contained to the plumbing behind the kitchen sink / cabinets and not as wide spread as what we were worrying about.

Anytime you're dealing with contractors or otherwise, in my experience, you've got your guard up, as prices can escalate very quickly. With Claudio he gave us an immediate sense of confidence, which over the course of the project developed into trust. With his initial assessment, we knew upfront what work would be completed. During the execution of the work, he inspected other sections of the external wall, concluding the issue was not from water penetrating from the outside through the foundation, but rather was attributed to a small leak on a poorly soldiered supply line to the sink. This is where our trust of Claudio kicked in. The job could have been made much larger. You always hear about those insurance jobs that balloon, but Claudio kept this centralized to his initial discovery, and kept our costs contained, allowing us to complete the job without going through our insurance.

Claudio is a good man, we appreciated the sincerity of how he conducted his business. We'll call him again in the future.

Restoration1 Peterborough has been AMAZING ! We had a flood in the basement, which destroyed all of our flooring and bottom part of the walls. We called a couple of different "contractors" and ended up with a bunch of sleeze-bags. We found Restoration1 Peterborough after a friend recommended we call. We were very happy we went with this company. Claudio took care to ensure everything was repaired to our request. I would recommend calling these guys if you find yourself with a flooded basement like myself.

I had water damage in my basement following a bad storm. Workers were professional and proficient, and addressed all my concerns promptly. My basement is better than before and would recommend this company to all family and friends.
