Tailored Contracting

We recently used Tailored Contracting to renovate our 2 bathrooms. It was an absolute pleasure working with Lucas and his team. We are very happy with the end results and will be using them again for future work. Lucas and his team were polite and respectful, made every effort to ensure that they cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and did their best to minimize any disruption. Lucas is very knowledgeable and transparent, he kept us informed throughout the entire process. As with any renovation, things dont always go as planned but Lucas was helpful at explaining all our options for the best outcome possible. Lucas provides a complimentary post renovation clean up which was a nice touch.

Lucas and his team were great! They were fast and efficient and the work is excellent. Lucas was very helpful in explaining options when changes and decisions needed to be made. They were on-time everyday and made a huge effort to disrupt our family as little as possible. We are very happy with our updated bathroom and will definitely be calling Tailored Contracting for future projects!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Lucas and his Tailored Contracting team for a full renovation of the main floor of our new (old) home.

We bought the house with certain renovations in mind, some of which were quite significant (e.g. removing walls to open up the kitchen and living space, completely gutting and rebuilding the kitchen and bathroom, relocating certain walls in the bedrooms, etc.) and others more cosmetic, but still important to us (e.g. replacing hardwood floors, removing popcorn ceilings, new doors and trim throughout, refinishing stairs and modernizing with glass, all new lighting, etc.).

Since this was our first time undertaking a project like this, we needed a lot of help and were looking to work with someone whose expertise and guidance we felt comfortable relying on.

Lucas was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. From the beginning, he took the time to understand what we had envisioned, clearly explained our options and what he and his team would be able to do to bring our visions to life, and set realistic expectations regarding what we could achieve, within our budget.

As the project progressed, Lucas continually took the time to carefully explain everything, making sure we always understood and had an opportunity to ask questions, including discussing with us the impact to timelines and costs as a result of any changes we wanted to make.

We were extremely appreciative for his advice and recommendations throughout the project. I have to thank Lucas for his great patience in answering our many (many) questions along the way. The information and advice that he shared with us throughout the project gave us total confidence that our home would turn out exactly as we wanted (and it did!).

We also really appreciated Lucas' incredible attention to detail with all of the finishings, down to every last detail. It was clear that he takes tremendous pride in his work, and I have great respect for the fact that he did not consider the job finished until he was satisfied attaching his name to it. We always felt like our home was in great hands.

We are very happy with the high quality of workmanship and the skilled craftmanship of Lucas and his team, and are thrilled that our home is now just as we dreamed it would be! We will definitely be calling Lucas and his team back for any future work, and would highly recommend Tailored Contracting to anyone planning a renovation.

Last winter we hired Tailored contracting to renovate our basement. It was one of the best decisions we have made in a long time. His quotes were very fair and accurate, his trades were always on time and very tidy, and the job was done as per his schedule and budget. I would recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of renovations in their house!

Lucas and his team did a flawless when he hired him to help us with our kitchen renovation. We asked him to install the tiles on the floor and backsplash and we couldnt be any happier with the results. Lucas is professional and affordable and would highly recommend his company.

I heard about Lucas and his company through a friend and hired him and his team to help me open my first restaurant. I am extremely happy about the results as everything we had asked him to do was spot on. He took care of a lot of things in the restaurant, but the main things were skimming the whole restaurant, vinyl flooring through the dining room, tiles in the kitchen, tiles in the guest bathrooms, custom back bar top and bar case. Friendly and honest..He gave accurate numbers for when he would start, how long the job would take, which subcontractors would be needed, and the actual cost.
Some small unfinished details were left, but when asked.. he returned to finalize. The tile salesperson failed to tell me about HUSH fabric between the vinyl tiles and the concrete and Lucus was new to this material so I have a small click sound on the floor, but otherwise the renovation is excellent.
I would recommend him.
