ICON Projects was contracted to construct our house in Abbotsford BC in 2020/2021. I have never written a review before; however, with the remarkable experience I had with ICON projects I had to express my satisfaction with a comprehensive review.
We reached out to Sanj along with 10-15 other builders in the Fraser Valley area before we ultimately hired him for the project. Of the builders we contacted Sanj was the most professional, responsive, and thorough in his correspondence to us even though he was aware we still hadn't purchased the lot. He went out of his way to research the subdivision and provide us with detailed information to why we should purchase a specific lot to accommodate the dream house we had always envisioned.
Once the lot was purchased, we hired ICON Projects to create the plans and perform construction. We were extremely particular in the house features as we had been looking at open houses for several years and knew exactly what we wanted. Through the course of construction Sanj never missed phone call from us! Additionally, as we talked to each subcontractor, they all advised only positive things about him and his company.
Sanj is passionate about building homes and was onsite daily to overlook the project. He acted as the designer to save costs and we discussed with him when choosing everything in the home including flooring, lights, paint colors, ect. He went above and beyond working with us on our old house to change the floors and fix a leak in the window which we were dealing with for years. We are very detail oriented and meticulous consequently we wanted everything to be perfect which Sanj continuously delivered on. Now, 8 months after moving in he still does not hesitate to answer our calls and rectify any issues presented to him.
Furthermore, there were some challenges we faced with the developer. Now, months after we ended up taking legal action with the developer and Sanj is still working with us to get this rectified even though this is well out of his scope for the project.
Please don't hesitate to hire Icon Projects with your project as ours was completed on time, on budget, and to 100% completion despite the global pandemic causing supply issues at every turn.
