Our 8-year-old Maytag washer sprung a leak. We couldn't figure it out ourselves, so we called Alex at Guy with a Wrench.

First off, Alex is a great communicator. He took time to explain and make sure we understood the nature of the repair. He was transparent in his pricing (most appreciated).

He was prompt, and efficient and took with the repair, testing and making sure everything was sound.

My washing machine has been making a terrible screeching sound. Alex came over and had a look at it. I wanted it fixed before my wife and I have our little squirt arrive. Alex is very very chatty. I enjoyed our interaction. He really took the time to explain what the screeching issue was to me. As a matter of fact he loaded me up with info - it was clear he takes pride in his work. As he investigated the problem, he was totally honest and told me fixing the washer would be more expensive in parts and labour than buying a washer brand new. So he didn't fix it. I'll wait a few years until the washer dies completely. His honesty was appreciated above all.

Alex fixed our Samsung dryer's heating element which had given up after 5 years of service. Alex was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend his services.

Oleg came to my house as my refrigerator was not cooling. Unfortunately, it could not be fixed. I needed to get another fridge. Oleg gave me some great tips when deciding upon a new fridge.

Once I decided on my fridge I called Oleg back and asked if he could do me a favour and stop by and unplug my fridge that was connected to the water line as well as to remove some trim from my cabinetry so the new fridge would be able to be installed.

Oleg went above and beyond what any other repair person would have done. He disconnected my fridge as well as removed the trim from my cabinetry and insisted on not charging again for another service call!! I was beyond appreciative as the expense of a new fridge and all the technicalities that come along with it were very costly.

They were amazing and everyone should not hesitate to use them whenever you can!!!

I had family coming for passover dinner and my oven decided to stop working at the worst time. I have to say, if it wasn't for Man with a Wrench we'do be eating Macdonald. Alex came by same day and even guessed exactly what the problem was over the phone and had it fixed in under an hour. Thank you Alex for helping me fix my stove and restore my dinner. We googled for a repair man to help with the washer that wasn't spinning. Came across this site and emailed them. Alex sent a reply with possible things that are wrong with it. We talked to him on the phone and made the appointment for him to come out. Alex said he would call 30 minutes to arrival. Well yes in fact he did and was very prompt. My dryer was not heating anymore leaving my clothes completely wet after every cycle. I decided to call Man With a Wrench based on a friend's recommendation, and I could not be more please with the service. A technician by the name of Oleg came out and repaired the issue within the hour, explaining to me that the heating element burnt out and required replacing. After he completed the repair, he throughly tested it with me to make sure everything is working correctly, and also provided me with maintenance tips to make sure I do not have any future problems. I am very pleased with the service and would not hesitate to recommend them for any future repairs.
