When I decided to replace my deck and a small gate section in my backyard I did some research to find someone to do the work. I was looking for someone who was honest, had fair pricing and had integrity. Not always an easy feat unfortunately these days. I met with several people and after reading the reviews on HomeStars, for Root Fencing Inc., I was confidant that it was going to be a good choice.

I have to say that I am sitting here now smiling because we are very happy with the results. Mark the owner of Root Fencing was exactly who I was looking for. The pricing was fair and along with being honest and having a high degree of integrity he is a highly skilled and experienced tradesman. He takes his craft seriously and the results show it. He is very meticulous in his work. This would obviously benefit his clients. Mark was very professional and the customer service was on par as well.

If you need a new deck built or a fence installed you can't go wrong with Root Fencing. I would highly recommend this company. The added bonus here is that if you hire this company, it is Mark that you get. He is an impressive one-man show! Thank you so much Mark for your hard work, the way that you care and for being so damn good at what you do sir.

We could not have been more impressed with Mark from Root Fencing. His tremendous work ethic and pride in his work is clearly evident. On a daily basis we have been receiving comments from neighbours on how good the new fence looks. We had Root Fencing tear down and construct a new fence for us in July. It was a fairly large job. Other contractors we reached out to you didnt even bother to call back but Mark was always very quick to quote and respond. The quote we received was very fair. The fence is fantastic. We couldnt be more pleased by its appearance and the service we received was awesome. We would recommend Root Fencing to anyone. It was really refreshing to work with a contractor you can trust.

Mark recently replaced our back fence (approx. 60') with a new 6' wood fence c/w with gate. The work was completed per the agreed-to schedule; the installation quality is deemed very good; and the final clean-up was to our satisfaction. Mark took the time to confirm our specific on-site needs and he certainly did a great job in effectively communicating throughout the job. The work was executed as per the quotation with one agreed-to nominally priced adder. In summary, we are extremely happy that we selected Root Fencing for this installation

Out of about 9 contractors (the Homestar app auto-sends a request for quotation to about 6 random contractors despite selecting my own. This should be fixed) Tamara & Mark at Root were the first to respond, first to visit the project area and the first to provide a quote. They understood what we wanted and we're able to provide plenty of pictures of the style of fence we wanted. Within 3 weeks we had a completed fence. It looks fantastic and provides the privacy we were hoping for.

Mark & Tamara did a beautiful job of our deck project! They really listened to our needs, made sound recommendations, and helped us make our dream a reality. We get a ton of compliments on their work, and are really happy with the quality and attention to detail. They also spent a lot of time sourcing quality material when there was a shortage. Mark and Tamara do fantastic work. They worked on a house behind my dads place and I knew right then and there this would be the pair I'd get to do my fence. I can't believe how fast they finished our project and the quality was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

We had our 30 year old fence replaced with a taller cedar fence to give us more privacy. We booked with Roots Fencing to do the work while we were out of town for a few weeks in the summer. They did an amazing job, coming home to see it fully finished to such a high standard was everything we hoped for. Great service, nothing was a problem and the work is top notch. Highly recommend.

We had a fence built by Mark and Tamara, It was a 6 Ft. fencing along a walkway, back alley and shared with our neighbors , They are very professional Amazing to work with, had our fence done very quickly, Also love the fact that Tamara & Mark hand pick every single board they use,
