Century Paving And Construction

We recently hired Century Paving and Construction to do a number of outdoor jobs for us:
-re-lay interlocking walkway
-replace driveway curbs
-replace stairs
-repair garage cement floor
-install new asphalt driveway
We were very happy with Alex and his coordination and supervision of all the jobs. His labour, Spencer, was amazing. He worked diligently through unpleasant weather and did an excellent job. Alex also coordinated the paving of our driveway by Westview Paving. We really felt he had our best interest in mind and ensured all jobs were done professionally. We would definitely contact Alex, Century Paving and Construction, for future outdoor projects.

I had a great experience working with Alex from Century Paving. My request was to,
> redo my front entrance walk-way and driveway edging with interlock,
> redo my front porch area with natural stone, and
> redo my driveway with asphalt.
> re-level a portion of interlock patio in backyard

Alex and his team were very attentive and provided excellent advice and guidance for design, product selection, and the overall project implementation from start to finish. Alex was there every step of the way and very responsive, providing excellent customer service.

Similar to other posts, the price was not the cheapest out of all of my quotes, but I selected Century paving for Alex's apparent and demonstrated knowledge, vast experience, and overall his ability to manage my project that required installation of 3 different materials (pavers, natural stone, and asphalt).

After getting two quotes, we decided to go with Century Paving even though it was slightly more expensive. The primary rationale was that customer service was non-existent with the other company even after we asked for a quote. The Century sales rep Alex was always prompt in responding to questions, scheduling and the service was very well done and extremely professional. Nothing but good things to say.

We hired Alex to replace our interlocking brick stairs and driveway. Alex made sure that we were knowledgeable about our options and took the time to help us make the right choice for our home and our budget. He put a tremendous amount of attention and care every step of the way, accompanying us to make the brick and landscaping choices and advising us of where to strategically put our renovation dollars for maximum effect and to ensure that the project remains structurally sound. Alex and his interlocking crew and paving crew did an amazing job from start to finish! He took the time to give me a few options, show me all the different varieties of products available and give me a fair price. All-in-all I am very impressed by the professionalism and dedication to making it perfect. They literally took apart my existing interlocking walkway piece by piece, regraded, and then put it all back together better than before. We added soldier courses along the driveway sides to replace my rotted timber curbs. Now we have no trip hazards and the city sidewalk plows won't ruin the curbs anymore! Century paving is a great company to deal with for your landscaping and paving needs. They took care of these two tasks at our home and delivered a superb job.

Alex's team did an amazing job. There was an issue which I will call an "act of god". Alex did come by very quickly but the repair was done by me at my expense. The excavation of the driveway took a very long time but we were really did not care. We wanted the interlock and levelling done in the backyard by a certain date. Alex said it would be no problem. True to his word it was done on time.

Alex was around all the time to supervise but honestly his crews were great and do not require the supervision. All the work area's were left spotless.

If you are in a rush to get the work done then look elsewhere. If you want good work done I will not hesitate and do recommend Century paving.

We neede to replace our sagging backyard patio as well as the front driveway and the walkway. Alex spent time with me coming up with options and optimum design, driving with me to the stone supplier and helping me navigate through the multitude of stone choices to ensure the optimum cost to meet the needs. I am quite detail oriented and can be picky, but Alex understood my wishes and concerns and was very helpful through the entire process. He arranged for the city to come to the property and mark utilities. Once the work started, he made sure that he consulted with me on the last minute design options and my husband and I thrilled with the final result. The work was done a year ago and Alex came by in the spring to make sure there were no issues and even did the "touch up" where needed.
