We recently had Taunton Trades into your home to service our gas fireplace. They were very friendly and efficient. The fireplace now looks as good as the day we moved in.

I have now used Taunton Trades on more than 3 different projects, AND COUNTING! Sean is very professional and knowledgeable in what he does! The prices are very fair and the quality and workmanship is awesome! As long as Taunton Trades exist they will always be my HVAC contractor! Never had an issue after the work has been completed and he is always available for maintenance afterwards!

I got a detailed quote and a very fair price but it was the service and installation I was most impressed with. The two men came in and in one day removed my old system and installed my new system and took the time to explain everything to me.

Taunton Trades Ltd (TTL) promptly came to my rescue when my tankless heater broke down during winter. TTL gave me professional assessment of my problem and the solution options. Once guided to the best option, TTL promptly did the work in the fastest time possible. The communication was very prompt. My feeling was "TTL came with the customer's welfare in mind - not just for TTL's gain." Prior to TTL, 2 contractors came but did not do anything to offer any help - but were quick in charging the fee. They left as soon as they arrived. I highly recommend TTL to all my friends. The Salesman is the best - very helpful, answered all my questions, safety conscious, very professional ! His technicians did the work in less time than scheduled. Everything was up to code and very neat. The technicians were very polite and friendly.

Our 15 year old furnace was giving us some grief and we decided to replace it. I solicited several quotes from HVAC companies.

Taunton Trades came highly recommended from a friend of mine so I requested a diagnosis and possibly a quote for a replacement furnace and for replacing the 15 ear old rental water heater.

Sean, one of the licensed technicians from Taunton Trades examined the furnace and using a carbon monoxide sensor probe confirmed that the secondary heat exchanger was failing. We discussed the issue along with my related heating / cooling concerns. Later that day the owner, Sean, provided the quote for replacing the furnace and water heater.

The quote from Taunton Trades was competitive with other quotes that I had received. Sean and the technician who diagnosed the failure spent time discussing the technology and the replacement process. Sean also went into detail regarding the replacement furnace and why it was the right choice from a value and quality perspective.

I accepted the quote and the next day the installation team arrived to replace the furnace. They covered the main floor hallway and stairs to the basement with drop sheets so as to keep the hardwood clean and proceeded to remove the old furnace and water heater. The guys were communicative, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They took great care in keeping the basement work area and the transit area on my main floor clean and tidy while removing the old equipment and installing the new.

They were detail oriented and I am impressed with how clean and tidy the installation is with no details overlooked. The furnace and new air intake and exhaust ducting is level and plumb, and carefully routed. The new furnace is quieter (variable speed DC fan motor) and the house is more comfortable than it was, even when the old furnace was functioning properly.

The team also went to great pains to ensure that the gas valve and fan speeds were configured correctly and that the air conditioner, which was not replaced, would function as designed during the cooling season.

In addition Taunton Trades took on the responsibility of returning the rental water heater and guided me through the process of getting a return authorization and terminating the rental.

I am pleased and impressed with the skills and service and would recommend Taunton Trades without hesitation.
