Murphy's Masonry

Original brick walls and pillars were breaking down and required replacement. Contacted Murphy’s for an estimate to replace with natural stone. I am very happy with the finished work. The work was performed in a quality manner and was completed on a timely basis.

We had them tuckpoint and parge the exterior walls of our house to prepare it for painting.

I had Murphy’s Masonary come by last week to do some brick repair and replacement at the front of my house. Chris and Tristan came by early to start the work while I was out but took the initiative to ask one of my neighbors to use their external power supply, a great start in my opinion, most contractors I ‘ve had in the past would use this as an excuse to come back another day. They guys were a pleasure to have working on the house, ensured that the neighbors were protected from any dust and did a thorough job cleaning up after themselves. This particular job was essentially a small emergency repair but there is quite a lot of work that we needs to get done on the remaining brick and I won’t hesitate in calling Ruairi and his team back. Very happy with the work so far.

Rauiri and his team were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. They were punctual, friendly and very professional. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. We are very pleased with the final product! I highly recommend Murphy's!

Rob and Patrick were a delight to see every day. Not only were they reliable, but they cared about my happiness with the work and despite my nit-picky-ness, they made changes as they came with a smile and reassurance that the job wasn't right until I was satisfied. They are both professionals and perfectionists.

I was very impressed with the Murphy's team. They did work on both our brick (tuck pointing) and repairing the mortar for our flagstone. The team was very professional and the quality of the work was excellent. We have an older home and the colour matching was very well done. I needed some masonry work done to replace some blocks on my older garage. I also needed some tuck pointing done. Ruairi quickly responded and sent over Rob and Padrick within a couple of days of my inquiry. The job proved to be a bit of a stinker, and new capping needed to be poured. However, Ruairi quickly got in touch, and I was only charged for the labour. The work was done quickly, and my garage is now leak-proof and much safer. I highly recommend the professionalism of Ruairi and his team.

We recently had a retaining wall rebuilt and 3 window sills replaced on our property.
From the initial consultation and quote to the completion of the work, the workers were punctual and very professional, answering any questions or concerns we had.

I had contacted Murphy's Masonry because I had noticed that some of the mortar on the house was cracked and chipped. In a couple of spots, a DIYer had tried to repair cracks using what looked like caulking! Shortly after submitting a request for the work, I was contacted and an inspection of my home was completed - to determine how much work needed to be done. It was nice to know that I was told the mortar was actually in good shape and that only minor repairs in a few spots would be required. During the estimate look around, Murphy's noticed that the brick work on the garage was in poor shape - and that this area needed to be replaced. Work began a few weeks later. I was always kept informed / updated by email from the great office staff! Rain delayed one day of work (however, Murphy's cannot be held responsible for that!) The work was completed to my utmost satisfaction - they were even able to match the bricks to the existing ones! Eddy and Manuel did an excellent job.
