Jspec Roofing

This is the first review I have ever felt compelled to write for any product or service.

We needed our roof done – we live in a small old barnhouse style home that’s over 100 years old. We had 6 different roofing companies come by to inspect the roof and provide quotes. One roofer showed up and provided a quote without even going up to see our roof. Another one sent two crew members and charged us $150 just for the quote and their quote was absolutely outrageous.

Justin arrived on the scheduled time for the quote – he was very friendly and took his time inspecting the roof and answering our questions and concerns. He sent us a professional and reasonable quote on that same evening, which was very competitive . After reviewing his quote and calling him with our questions, we decided to go ahead and hire Justin and his crew.

They arrived on the scheduled start date/time- Justin was present with his partner and 4 other crew members. My husband greeted them and I heard lots of laughter and comradery coming from outside which was refreshing given that it was bright and early – it was nice to hear the good cheer and observe the teamwork spirit from the crew. Our entire roof and the additional flat roof were done within the time frame promised- in 2 days.

The next day after getting our roof replaced, there was a very treacherous rainstorm. My husband and I woke up in the middle of the night and checked for leaks (as had been our experience from previous rainfalls) but there weren’t any! For the first time, we enjoyed a good night’s sleep through the rain. It has subsequently rained a few more times, and we are happy to report that there are no leaks. We are starting to fall in love with rainy nights again.

Thanks to Justin and his team – our work was done within 2 days and for a fraction of the cost of other roofers. It comes with a 10 year warrantee which also helps ease our minds. Justin and his team went above and beyond to clean the front, side and backyards and to ensure that we were 100% satisfied. When my brother, who is a contractor asked us about Justin’s work, we recommended him without hesitation and I'm sure my brother will be recommending him to his future clients.

We can't recommend Justin and JSpec Roofing highly enough. After meeting numerous roofers, we knew Justin was the one to hire. Extremely professional, up-front, courteous and friendly, Justin and his crew provided exceptional workmanship at a fair price. With three layers of shingles to remove, vents to relocate and an awkward roof line to deal with, the crew got the job done on time and on budget. The crew was professional, clean up was thorough, our new roof looks terrific, and we will be recommending that our friends and neighbours call JSPEC for any of their roofing needs.

They did my neighbours roof and when they were cleaning up I asked them to come by and take a look at two separate areas of our roofing, one of which we knew had a leak.

These guys were nice, professional, fast and clean. Showed up when they said and did the job for what they quoted. Highly recommend.

Pretty great experience with J Spec. Quote was prompt and turned out to be accurate - some extra work/cost was added but only after consultation. Work was started and completed on time and it looks great. Some trampled vegetation but no real way around that in my situation and other than that they left my property cleaner than it was before they started. Wasn't a huge job but I felt like a major client.

I had a great experience with J Spec Roofing and highly recommend them. I had 3 layers of shingle and needed both the sloped and the flat roof replaced. Justin Paull was responsive, came by to inspect the house, took photos, talked me through what needed to be done and provided a very reasonable quote. The roof was completed in the time lines promised and everyone on the crew was super professional and the end result? It looks fantastic.

Excellent work by Justin and his crew. Very professional, explained everything in detail, provided pictures of every step they did. Always answers the phone and emails. Would recommend them any time. Came on a Saturday morning when we could not reach any other roofer willing to come, checked the roof and did an emergency repair immediately and replaced both the flat roof and the shingles on the pitched roof two weeks later.

Excellent, simply excellent! Responsive to us, thorough, explained everything....and rave reviews from our neighbors. Roofing can be such a messy job, and both complimented how professional they were.

Justin was an absolute pleasure to work with right from the first phone call. After the initial call, I was already impressed on how professional he was. We received an estimate within a couple of days with a detailed explanation. The work was completed within 2 days as promised and it was like Justin and team were never there (cleanup was GREAT)! Something did happen (which was not great) but we were EXTREMELY happy in how Justin handled the situation!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Justin & team.
