Barry and Lisa did a major house reno for us (plumbing, kitchen, and two bathrooms). We have had a lot of experience with renos over the past 29 years (in 3 different provinces), and Dependable Renos was by far the best experience we have had.

Barry and Lisa have been fantastic!!! They gave us a detailed quote at the beginning of the project. They were very responsive and communicative throughout. The trades they work with were all amazing!!! The project was completed on time (despite a very tight timeline), and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect!!!

We will definitely work with them again, and would recommend them without hesitation to our friends and family!

We had dependable design and carry out a front addition on our house, new siding, driveway and other upgrades like new gutters, fascia etc. The quality of the craftsmanship that their contractors delivered was excellent and Dependable did a great job ensuring when something wasn't perfect that it would be fixed. We're very happy with the work that was done and can't imagine how we were living without our spacious and beautiful front entrance before.
The reason we give 4 stars and not 5 is that the project completion dragged on for 2 months with small odds and ends and the final stucco painting wasn't done before the temperatures dropped, hence will have to be delayed until spring. Not a huge problem but given we live in Calgary this was a foreseeable obstacle.
Nonetheless we are happy and grateful.

We were highly impressed with the professionalism and quality of work from the entire Dependable team. After meeting with various contractors, we knew Dependable was our choice once we met the team as every worker was very respectful, polite, and had years of experience! We also had a newborn while renovations were taking place and I was impressed with how clean and tidy the 'construction site' was. Our reno took 6 weeks and every job was completed on time! We definitely recommend Dependable Renovations for anyone who is considering a reno...you would be in great hands and are guaranteed a job well done!!

We are absolutely thrilled with our reno!  Barry was patient and spent numerous hours with us coming up with a plan that would work realistically that would fit in our budget. He is very personable and you can tell that he enjoys his job. Lisa and I corresponded to finalize the details, both here accessible throughout the process.  The transparency was outstanding - we had visibility to every estimate and invoice.  No surprises, and when the actual invoice was less than the estimate, those savings were passed on to us. We’ve dealt with many renos companies in the past, and this was by far our favorite. The consistent customer experience we received is a tribute to the culture Lisa and Barry have curated in their team and business partners. If we are to go through a reno again, we wouldn’t hesitate to call them!

Working with Barry and his trades people made our kitchen renovation project quite painless.
