Insulated siding, repairs, new roof
The siding on my house was looking old and dingy (about 32 years old) and my natural gas bill was much higher than other people I talked to, so I approached Renovaction at the local Home Show. Doug Emmon came out to talk with me and presented me with options for new insulated siding. Luc Lachapelle, the owner and a designer friend, Salli McSweeney helped me choose appropriate colours for the siding, fascia and soffits and eavestrooughing. What a difference to the look of my house!
The crew were very courteous, trustworthy and hard working. Luc visitied the site frequently to ensure I was happy with the work and continued to assure me that if there were any problems to let him know. While they were working on the siding we discovered that a great deal of the wood beneath the old siding was rotten. The crew replaced the wood around my chimney, my kitchen windows and my back door. During this process we discovered that my roof was in much worse shape than visible from the ground. The crew checked that there was no leaking in the attic and that the insulation was good, but a new roof was required. Luc again helped me pick out the shingles and the result is beautiful. I now have a well insulated house that is beautiful inside and out. I am very pleased with the final results and all my dealings with Luc, Doug and the employees. I know that if I need help in the future, I will look to them again for assistance.
