Solid Eavestrough

Over the last few rainfalls in the GTA have been quite intense and the gutter at the rear of our home was overflowing. I wanted to address this right away as if these types of issues are not fixed it can lead to foundation and other issues with water damage.

I contacted Solid Eavetrough as they are highly rated across the GTA and requested that they to look into cleaning or repairing my gutter and downspouts.

From my first phone call with Yaron he was just simply amazing ! Answered all my questions and concerns on my type of job and he promptly booked me in for an appointment!

The day of the appointment could not have been any easier! Yaron showed up and promptly addressed that the gutter had a blockage of a loose single and leaves from one of the recent storms! He also throughly cleaned and checked the entire gutter system of the remaining house. He as well helped to address an issue I was having with garage facia!

Initially I was looking for someone to fix the pulling away gutter. Yaron was the first one provided detailed solution and reasonable quote. After he came in to do the work, I just kept looking for more works for him, secured the downpiple, sealed the chimney cap, and he finished everything beautifully, with very friendly attitude.

During the recent heavy rains I noticed the eavestrough leaking at the front of the house so I called Solid Eavestrough based on the excellent Homestar reviews. Yaron answered immediately, gave me a quote and was fixing the problem all within a couple of hours and in the pouring rain. He cleaned the downspout, installed brackets and leaf guards on the front of the house and offered suggestions on other problems I'm having with areas of the roof. He's very personable & knowledgeable and there was absolutely no pressure which I greatly appreciate. I highly recommend him and will be using this company again.

I got in touch with Yaron because my regular ivy trimmer failed to show up last fall and new spring growth was beginning to cover the windows. He replied immediately. Yaron kept me posted about when he would come (the weather has been changeable). He worked on the ivy for over three hours, trimming it well back from the windows and eaves. He very carefully removed some dead ivy from the house without any damage to the underlying stucco. Many thanks, Yaron!

Yaron was responsive and called me back the same day after I submitted a request for a quote on his website. He told me he would be able to come out in two days to repair my gutter and to send him some pictures. My gutter at that point was being held up by two or three screws, and once he saw the pictures he called me back and said he would come the same day to repair it. He was concerned that the gutter would fall off before he could repair it and said the charge would be a lot higher if it fell off and a new gutter installation was required. I totally appreciated that because you don't find that type of concern in a lot of contractors and in the end the cost was very reasonable. He put the screws back in and installed the brackets and even reattached my downspout that had become unattached. I would highly recommend Solid Eavestrough!

Yaron is fantastic and this is the second time he’s done repairs for me. He communicates immediately and attended my home on the same day I contacted him both times. He’s professional and his prices are fair. He dealt with my main problem today and then did some additional repairs and modifications upon my request. I would only and ever use and recommend Yaron for my downspout and eavestrough repairs.

I had a large section of my eavestrough detached from the roof. Called Yaron and luckily he was in the area and was able to stop by my house within a couple of hours. He explained how he was going to fix it and did just that. I'm very satisfied with his work and will call on him again when its time to replace my eavestroughs completely.

I emailed Yaron on a Monday morning at 7:30am and within 20 minutes, he had responded. I had a small leak due to some heavy rain the week prior that I was concerned about, and I thought that it was caused by the eavestroughs being clogged. So I wanted my eavestroughs cleaned right away and he was kind enough to fit me in on the Thursday of that same week, after I finished work. It turns out my eavestroughs were clogged because my roof was in bad shape and all the shingles had broken off and were in the eavestroughs! Yaron took his time to diligently hand clean my gutters and show me before and after pictures. I was worried I would need to get new eavestroughs put in, but he told me my eavestroughs were actually in pretty good shape and that there was no need to replace them for another few years. I was really impressed that he was did not try to upsell me on something that could wait. Even though it wasn't his job, he walked around my roof and took pictures to show me the damage and where there were possible holes in my roof. He suggested that I get my roof fixed right away, and he took extra time after the job to share some very helpful advice, which I greatly needed and appreciated.  I am so grateful to Yaron; he is a very polite, kind, helpful and honest person. I highly recommend him and his company and I will be calling him in a few years time to come and install new eavestroughs for me.

We have been experiencing annual ice damming resulting in the eavestrough separating from the roof with water leaking down the wall of the house. We called Yaron based on the reviews from previous users. He turned up as stated and calked along the roof and eavestrough. I was initially surprised at the rather high cost, however when I noticed some further dripping from the eavestrough, Yaron responded immediately and returned to fix the problem. He was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. I really appreciate the fact he returned to fix the problem without charging an additional fee. We will certainly be happy to use this company again.
