Alex and his team are very professional. The crew that did the work was very polite, on time and was always ready to answer my questions. After seeing how professional and clean my neighbours’ residence roof replacement went (see John's review below), I decided to give Excel Building & Roofing a call. Alex answered my call and offered to stop by later that afternoon to provide me a quote. Alex was very helpful in explaining the process and answering my questions given it was my very first time having to replace a full roof. Furthermore, he was able to provide us with various addresses close to our address so that we could better “see” the different tile colours that we were interested in and provided his own recommendation as well (which in the end – he was spot on!). Alex was very efficient and friendly whenever we spoke, thank you Alex – we really appreciated this! The roofing crew were on site within the week after we signed our contract and the materials were delivered promptly. We had the same team that our neighbours’ had (Martin, Kevin and Cedrick) and you could not have asked for nicer gentlemen, they showed up each day on time, listened to my concerns (we have a pool in the backyard) and were simply amazing roofers as they installed our roof in 2 days. They ensured to cleanup at the end of each day even after a long day’s work on our roof. Overall my wife and I were completely satisfied with the entire process from Alex, through to install and then registration of our warranty. Received quotes from 3 prominent roofing companies for my residence and my neighbours residence. Alex Forget responded in very short order and was on site the very next day to provide quotations. Alex explained the process while respecting social distancing given the current situation with Covid-19. During the next few days I had many questions regarding the quotation related to materials and the installation process which we did through email. Alex was quick to respond usually within an hour. We eventually issued contracts to Excel Building and Roofing. Alex’s roofing crew were on site within 3 days to begin work. Materials were delivered efficiently and cleanup was done at the end of each day. Thanks to Martin, Kevin and Cedrick for a professional and timely installation while respecting our properties and landscaping. My neighbour and I are complete I satisfied with the work performed. I would highly recommend using Excel for your roofing needs based on workmanship, price and their family oriented service.
