I received many quotes for my driveway and some interlock work from various companies. Springside was very reasonable and professional. They explained what they would do and when they would be able to start. They were true to their commitment.
Showed up on time, very clean and organized. They did excellent work. I would highly recommend them.

Worst work ethic ever! We contracted this company to do our driveway in May 2015 and the work was supposed to start mid June. They withdrew the $200 deposit from our account right away, but didn't show up on the date agreed upon. They never called to let us know what's happening. We were the ones to call them twice, only to be given different timelines: end of June and then end of July, but again they didn't show up without even having the courtesy to let us know. They called us for the first time in ... September (!!!) to schedule the job. I was obviously upset and wanted to talk with Dino, who contracted the job. On the day of the job, instead of getting the driveway paved, they returned our deposit. When my wife called to see what's going on, the explanation was that they didn't like the way I talked to them on the phone. They shamelessly used our deposit money for 4 months and received free advertising from having their sign on our lawn for 4 months! No respect for customers, no work ethic! If you want your job done, do not hire this company!

Springside paving always has signs in the neighbourhood. I got a quote, they can and removed the top asphalt and stated that usually they wait 2-3 weeks before paving while we drive on the unpaved surface. They filled in the depressions and repaved. Work was well done though I had to chase them to complete the paving before guests arrived. The only reason I rated them 9/10 was because no one explained they were going to slant the driveway from the walkway and it causes issues for the snow removal plow (contract) because the driveway is not level and that area is getting gouged.
