Shawn was extremely knowledgeable. Really really knows what he’s talking abt. Took lots of time with us to explain things. Took extra time to look at our air exchanger told us why it wasn’t working and made sure we understood how to work it. Had reliable contacts we could use to do repairs. I would very highly recommend this company.

Shawn was very helpful and professional in dealing with humidity and mold in our home. He takes the time to see and address the entire home system, rather than just put a bandaid on a single problem. We are very pleased at this logical and big picture approach, his expertise, and the solutions that he has recommended.

It is not worth it to live in a home with air quality problems, whether it be mold, Carbon Monoxide, asbestos, or VOCs, and Shawn is your man to help address these problems!

Through business and personal experience I have worked extensively with trades and client service companies. I’ve been fortunate to work with many good people, but once in while you come across a person/company that far exceeds expectations. In this case, Shaun, from Indoor Air Quality, was just that person. He not only patiently listened, he followed up with a detailed and comprehensive explanation of how things should work, and then proceeded to carefully test, all the while explaining the process. He didn’t try to upcharge, giving us continued faith in his abilities and how he would work resolving our problem.
If I could give 6 out of 5 on the scale of satisfaction I would :)

I hired Shawn to test for asbestos in materials to be removed for a garage ceiling insulation job (to remedy a cold bedroom above), but I received much more than that. He asked about my plans and advised what was worth doing and what was not. He drew on his experience to suggest that part of the problem might be due to short cycling of the furnace, and helped me to adjust the heat vents so that the thermostat would not turn the furnace off so soon, allowing more heat to get to the bedroom.

He assisted me in developing specifications for the insulation job, recommended some contractors, and helped me choose the one to hire based on their proposals. Shawn knowledgeably answered lots of questions and explained many technical details along the way. He even offered to come back in the fall to check the results with thermal imaging! I now feel confident to proceed with the job and that I'll get a warm bedroom. Thank you, Shawn!
