David was very helpful and informative about presenting our options but never overbearing or influential. We appreciated the daily communications on the progress of our roof, and the quick timeline. His crew was friendly, respectful, and hard working. Our neighbours were pleasantly surprised by their camaraderie and laughter. We were very impressed by Landmark's professionalism. Totally unsolicited recommendation., We had five quotes for doing our roof, Landmark was right in the middle. We selected David after speaking to him, receiving a very comprehensive quote, and checking references. Our decision was also based on the fact that David is a young man with a new company and we felt that he would do his utmost to build his reputation ! We were right in our decision! Half way through the job we could see the difference in our new roof and the abysmal job done on the house next door last summer .....by a lowball quote! David,s crew worked non-stop. They were here before seven and worked happily until seven pm. They were polite, neat, friendly and eager to have our approval of their work at every stage. Our yard was left in pristine condition and our roof looks better than any on the street. On day three, in fact, the last neighbour to re-roof, came over to hire Landmark for his job. I called David, owner of Landmark Roofing to check a leak in my roof. On further inspection it ended up that I needed to replace my roof in order to permanently fix the problem. David presented to my wife and I three different quotes including bringing with him samples of the roofing material. Everything was explained to us in great detail. We decided to go with the Landmark TL Triple Laminated roofing system. The project went very well. He had a great crew and the roof was done in a very timely manner. David was terrific to deal with in this process. When we decided to convert our 30 year old cedar shake roof to ashphalt i sought out 4 quotes. three came in and one didn't show up as promised to present it. two of the quotes were within a hair of each other and both business owners were friendly, efficient, presented extremely comprehensive proposals including liability insurance, worksafe proof, work and site plans, as well as three different price points for the project and advice about each. I chose Dave at Landmark and am happy with my decision. the work was done yesterday, virtually 99 percent of it complete in a 14 hour day for the crew! the guys were great, friendly, helpful, worked hard to take advantage of the first sunny day. i'm tipping them for their great performance! clean up was good, Dave came back and helped me clean the attic, which is definitely above and beyond the call of duty. I would definitely recommend Landmark; you can be certain that the price will be super competitive with other reputable roofing companies and that the owner will be on site several times a day during your project, to answer questions and make sure everything is on track.

It was nothing but pleasure dealing with David. He spent quite a lot of time to investigate and find potential causes of the roof leak that other roofing companies that I invited missed. David explained me very well what were the issues and what was the best way to fix them. The price quote that he gave me was very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. David was always on time. I was very impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and quality of work he did. David even came back several days after the work was completed to make sure that cracks in the concrete tiles he fixed are sealed properly. I would definitely use his help again for any roofing projects.

From first contact through pricing, execution of the project and then final clean up David and the landmark crew prove themselves tradesmen of professional integrity. As well as getting the roof completed in a timely fashion the price was competitive and the quality of workmanship was top shelf. The on site installers were courteous and respectful of our property. I'm a busy mom, renovator & landlord & have dealt with MANY people in the trades.
The roof on my little lean-to shed needed replacing as it was leaking. I got one quote that seemed expensive so after reading the reviews here, I contacted David. He was able to spot my shed (on google earth?) & give me a quote over the phone which was more than reasonable. He was busy but managed to do the job in the next couple of days.
He was knowledgable, prompt & true to his word. You can tell he takes pride in his work & business. He even installed metal flashing (at no extra cost to me) so that the job was done to a great standard. The roof looks wonderful & when the house roof needs replacing, I'll definitely be calling David. I highly recommend him!

We were referred to David by a friend who had used his company for their emergency roof replacement.

We had recently bought a new home and were advised that the garage roof, and the extension roof had to be replaced immediately and the main roof should be done in the next year or so.

David met with me on site on a Sunday morning and we discussed options around what to do with the main roof, extension roof and the garage roof.
Later that same day, he returned with the most complete quote I have ever seen. It included samples, information on every part of the roof and a detailed quote broken down clearly and simply.

To add complexity to our project, the main and garage roofs are shared with our adjoining neighbour. David worked with both owners without any hassle.
In our case, David's price was significantly better than the other quotes we received, and as such we decided, along with our neighbour, to do all the roofs at once.

He arrived on site each day in the morning to coordinate the work with his teams, and came back regularly during the day to ensure that all the work was being completed to his satisfaction. He also worked with our contractor to install some additional vents which we found were missing. (bathroom and dryer were venting into attic)

The main roof was completed in 2 days, and the garage roof was 90% completed in the same time.
Due to rain, the gutters and flashing on the garage couldn't be done for a couple of days, but as soon as the weather cleared, the teams came in and completed all the work.

David went above and beyond by even coming out personally on a weekend to install the leaf guards. He was always professional, courteous and helpful and a pleasure to do business with.
