When we opened our doors in 1989, Founder and Master Plumber, Jeff Wright set out with the goal of helping homeowners in the greater Toronto area with their residential plumbing needs. Providing value for the customer with a respectful, professional, and quality service approach has always been his top priority from the start.

Several years after we started The Great Plumbing Co., industry was booming in the GTA and we saw an even greater need outside the residential plumbing space. Thus, we shifted our attention to provide general contracting for local business owners. Fast forward to 1999 when we took the opportunity to become involved with the city’s development, providing CCTV inspection and cleaning of large diameter sewers.

Fix pipe leak

I found a leak to my garage ceiling. It was easy to book an appt with Jeff and he was very punctual. He located the leak from a cracked pipe in the floor above and fixed it. Jeff was very professional and honest. His fees are reasonable. I am very pleased with his services. Thank you for your help!

Leak on Garage Ceiling

There was a leak on my garage ceiling. It was easy to book an appt and Jeff was very punctual. He was able to locate the leak and fix a cracked pipe. Jeff was professional and honest. He cleaned up afterwards as well! Fees are appropriate. Thanks for the help!

Water pooling in bathroom

Jeff did a thorough assessment of possible sources of water. Found that pipes were not the cause of the problem, inspected the roof and eavestroughs and pointed out the source. He also tested the top floor radiator in my house which doesn't work, and found that one of the pipes in the heating system needs replacement. His detective work pointed me in the right direction to solving both problems, and gave me good advice on how to avoid overcharging when the work is done by appropriate companies. If I have any plumbing problem in the future I would call him right away.

It was done as requested, also did interior work that completed the job properly. I found the price a bit high, although I do not fault the workmanship with was excellent.

Jeff arrived during the time allotted. He was friendly, explained what needed to be done. He completed the job quickly and cleaned up as well. This is the second job he has done for us and we’ll use him again.

Replacing laundry tub faucets

The hoses from my washing machine were about 30 years old and corroded onto the faucets so both the faucets and hoses needed to be replaced before I could get a new washing machine.

Jeff was great ! He arrived on time, was polite, friendly and helpful and gave us a quote before starting the job. He cleaned up the area when he was finished and showed me what he had done.

I would certainly recommend him to anyone. I'm hoping to have him come back later in the fall to do some other small jobs in the kitchen and bathrooms.
