A week ago Sunday morning, just before the temp went down to -20°C, our old furnace gave out. Gary called back immediately and brought over 2 space heaters. On Tuesday, in freezing weather, he and his sons installed a new furnace and A/C. They upgraded the gas line, buried the drain pipe, filled in a chimney hole and many other things. They showed us the crack in our old furnace as they were taking it away. Gary happily answered any questions we had. They were all lovely, polite, cleaned up. I highly recommend A & A Heating and A/C.

It's the worst time to not have heat and hot water in the last 2 weeks of December. The options were limited to the builder's choice (Reliance) who was pressuring us to upgrade instead of fixing or replacing the current boiler at a new monthly charge of 4 times the current monthly payment and to be locked into multi-year agreements. Gary was highly recommended to us - I honestly did not look at his reviews but went with the referral from a family member. Gary spent countless hours on the phone with us working through options, especially since our town house was designed for high velocity heating systems only, After sending pictures to Gary, he knew the exact system to install. Despite closure of suppliers' stores and his contacts taking vacation for the holidays, Gary managed to source a system and install before Dec 31st. We are extremely grateful for the time Gary spent to install exactly what he intended to at a decent price. He worked with his sons for almost 8 hours to ensure the system was installed and fully functional. They were professional and very easy to communicate with. Gary was patient when I was running out of patience. He always answers the phone whenever I call and always pleasant. Gary not only installed the new tankless combi boiler but also serviced and replaced other pipe connections. My visitors comments were "he did a good job". I highly recommend Gary. If you have a townhouse that doesn't require a regular furnace, Gary is knowledgeable enough to know the appropriate installation required.

This team is a good old fashioned kind of great. As a woman who lives on her own with daughters, it means everything to hire a trustworthy company. After many attempts to contact professionals about my furnace issues and multiple no shows, Gary answered the phone and was in my home the following afternoon. As I suspected, the furnace needed replacing. I own and old home and they converted it to forced air from a boiler system. So, all duct work, furnace and central air - I dreaded the process. Gary and his team made it such a breeze! They kept in contact, were so polite and friendly and patiently explained every step. Most importantly, they stand behind their work and I can rest well knowing the job was done properly. When making an investment in your home, it makes such a difference to feel good about the company doing the work. I won’t hesitate to recommend this company!

Absolutely true professionals. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY... My furnace was on it's last leg and needed to be replaced. The previous company who installed my original furnace did a very poor "hack job". I called several companies all promising to give quotes and promised to come by but no show or quotes. Not only did Gary give a reasonable quote but also did a few repairs at no additional costs. His amazing team (friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable) replaced the furnace and more. They did additional work to add/repair pipes, cement work and added vents around again at no additional cost. What can I say, I'm truly grateful there are honest, hard working family oriented companies out there that are looking out for their customers.

Our home needed the trifecta (heating, A/C and water tank). Spending all that money at once, with one company is stressful because we want to ensure we are using a reliable one. So, I posted in a neighbourhood group asking for recommendations – I got many. Many who never replied to my calls or emails. Many companies who didn’t want to take the time to call back and just say “Sorry, we are too busy right now”. It was frustrating to say the least. Finally, I did my own research and I found A&A Heating. They had great reviews, however, I was still reluctant because I did not no anyone who used them personally and my husband is very particular. Anyhow, we managed to get three companies to come in and provide us quotes. After our meetings, it was clear my husband was going with A&A. My husband had lots of questions, all in which were answered thoroughly and at no time did we feel rushed. We ended up going with them and we have no regrets. We replaced and moved our heater, we replaced our A/C and we went tankless with our water tank. Although it was only been a few weeks, things are great. They installed everything in one day (four guys) and cleaned up nicely. We live in the East end and since this company was located West, we thought if we ever had a problem, getting them here may be a challenge. Well, that was not the case. They forgot to do one minor thing, and we thought for sure it would be while before we got them back since they were getting busier, but Gary said he would send someone over that weekend (It was Thursday when we called). Sure enough, Adrian showed up. They treated our location as if we were right next door. Hands down I would recommend this company. Whenever my husband is happy spending that much money and is pleased with the work…everyone is happy!!

Was referred by a family member, contacted Gary, was having issue with furnace and a/c at my in-laws home. Gary was able to come out and take a look he told us the furnace needed service did not need to be replaced but did need to be serviced and recommended we get a humidifier and and a pump so we could remove hose we kept tripping over. but the a/c needed to be replaced. Gary and Adrian where able to come out right away and get the job done. Professional service from making sure the floor was covered , working clean and going above and beyond making sure things where clean and sealed, taking the time to explain how everything worked.

We bought a brand new rebuild 2 years ago. We welcomed our second son last year at the peak of the pandemic. We found that in his room there was NO Heat and NO AC coming through the vents. Frustrated with the purchase we thought the worst.
Fortunately, thanks to our saviours Gary & Team at A&A Heating and Air Condition they spent 2 days to assess and resolve the issue.
There were broken dampers throughout the vents in the house. Top takeoff's were installed from the furnance instead of side takeoff's. Dampers from the furance vents outward weren't installed. Lastly the Furnace fan had baked on drywall dust (another code violation). Those were the big issues, and there were other minor issues. Gary and his team fixed it all. They even balanced the air/heat flow in our house. They made sure that each vent was pushing out at least 100CFMs per vent.
We are extremely thankful for their help and patience. They were incredibly courteous and respectful by wearing a mask at all times and removing shoes while indoors. They took the time to explain to us the issue and walked us through the steps they were taking to fix each one.
There is NO ONE else I would recommend you to call - only Gary at A&A Heating and Air Condtion.

Gary and his Team diagnosed, removed, replaced our airconditioner, furnace, thermostat and added a humidifier and air cleaner with great aptitude and knowledge. This was all done on the same day. They were effective, efficient, and highly expeditious in the manner by which they performed the tasks.

We are happy with the service, employees, and products. Thanks again. It was certainly reassuring to have a knowledgeable and professional team work for us. They were also polite, respectful and conscientious. Of course, they will be servicing our system in the future and we will definitely not hesitate to recommend this company to others.
