Empire Deck & Interlock

I bought a house that desperately needed a complete re-do of the outdoor space. Empire Deck and Fence came to the rescue - new patio, deck, fence, hedge, vegetable gardens and shrub beds. It was a massive undertaking, completed in good time under difficult weather conditions. The results are spectacular, exceeding my expectations. Many thanks to Empire Deck and Fence, and the marvelous team who made this miracle happen.

From the moment I met with Ziad and Sia for our backyard deck, I could tell they were more concerned with quality than trying to sell anything. They were meticulous with the details and very thorough with the measurements and planning. They came up with several ideas and suggestions to improve upon what we wanted and impressed me with their dedication to our vision.

We were presented with online plans, an appropriate and very quick timeline, and before we knew it our deck materials were being dropped off. They guys on site were great, disposed of old materials, and were awesome to deal with. The weather didn’t always cooperate, but the guys were willing to stay longer to make sure that things stayed on schedule. Bruce, the project manager, frequently checked in and was great to work with and addressed any questions I had.

Before we knew it, we were BBQing on our brand new composite deck and loving every square foot of it!

The guys at Empire decks are a dream to work with, and we are extremely pleased that we chose them over other companies we met with. We even had Empire do additional work at our house (installing railings around a 17 ft long deep window well to prevent our 2 year wold son from falling in when he plays) just because they were so great to work with, they do an amazing job and they truly care about your project.

These guys did a great job with careful and professional installation of the fence (thank you Chris especially). I would give them a 5 star rating except for two things...it took a call to head office to get them to pick up the old fence after it was sitting there for a week (in fairness, once told, they came within hours). Second, I gave them the contract to do the third side of the property and they have promised to finish the job before the snow flies, but I haven't heard from them (likely due to workload) Should they not come, I may have to find another company to finish the last part of the fence (although I prefer not too...)

I'm a stickler for customer service since I own my own small company and can't forgive anything less than a perfect performance

But those criticisms aside, they did a great job overall and the end result looks great

We hired Empire Deck and Fence to build a small 10x15 ft deck in our backyard. We were not supposed to have it built until mid May but a cancellation got us in sooner. They were in and out in 3 days with no issues. A railing was not installed in one spot, they came back and installed it no problem. Would recommend.

Empire built a beautiful PVC deck for us. The did it efficiently and even offered to help us move the riverrock that we had to under the deck for minimal charge. The team was deligient and very responsive to our requests.

We had a fence built around our small townhouse yard, and a deck built which covers the majority of the space. Empire worked with us to create a plan that met our design wants, but kept us in budget. They started the project a few weeks ahead of schedule, and completed the work in 4 days as originally quoted. The Project Manager called a few times while work was being done to confirm details, so there were never any surprises. All of the staff we interacted with were very professional and friendly. Both the fence and deck met our expectations, and the price at Empire beat any other quote we had received.

I had Empire Deck & Fence install a rear fence at my townhome. I was pleased with the quality of the work and the price was very reasonable. I'm a happy customer.

The crew showed up right on time at 7:30am and was extremely friendly and professional. They worked a twelve hour day...very impressive! It only took another half day to finish the deck, and they did it withstanding some rain and even a few snow flurries. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and the deck is top quality.
