If you need a new air conditioner or furnace or anything along that line, Jack from Active Air is the man for the job. He cares about his customers and will meet you where you are at. I found him to be efficient, respectful and humble but above all, he is an honest businessman. As a senior with severe sensitivities, he went above and beyond what I could ever have asked. His prices are very fair. Because I am so sensitive to heat, Jack he did the installation earlier than expected. I would highly recommend
him to anyone.

I had the extreme pleasure to meet Jack while he was working on my sister's air conditioning today. He genuinely cares about his customers and is a humble person. I will say that he is the most honest businessman that I have come across. He was able to get there when he said he would and installed the air conditioner and all that it entails in a very timely matter. His prices were very fair. He was very respectful coming inside and going out for the job to be done, but most of all, he was very respectful and kind to my sister who is 82 years old. I would feel at ease if she needed any other work done. I would definitely recommend him and his company to anyone

We just moved to Hamilton and our furnace conked out :( . Jack came and fixed the furnace, put in a new thermostat, and Zack made sure we were set for years to come. That's why we trusted them with putting in our new fireplace.... looks great and we love it!

Guess if you need something simple fixed Jack might be your guy. Make sure you get a written estimate though, price might change. Likes to take short cuts to make it easier for his self. If he says he'll come back to fix a mistake, good luck with that, reply is he is always to busy right now, then it's sorry but the warranty period is now over, can't help you

I just recently purchased and moved into a new condo, and hadn’t test the HVAC unit until the summer heatwaves set in, at which point I discovered my indoor compressor unit was freezing up, and I was borderline melting in my condo. New to the area, I wasn’t sure how to go about finding a trustworthy company to fix the issue. I came to Homestars and found Active Air was rated highly, and had great reviews, so gave I decided to take a chance and give them a call. I was not disappointed. Jack (the owner) and Zack squeezed me in to come assess the issue the day following my initial call, took the time to explain to me what they thought the issue was, and gave me a ballpark estimate in order to fix it (which was within the realm of what I was expecting). They were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable, and were able to fix the issue within a reasonable timeframe (given it was the middle of a heatwave and a very busy time for them). The final price ended up being slightly higher than the ballpark estimate, but was still reasonable given the work they ended up having to do to fully resolve the issue. They were thorough, trustworthy, and seemed to really care about getting the job done right. I really appreciated them taking the time to explain everything and answer my questions in a way I could easily understand. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends, or to call them for any HVAC related issues in the future. Thanks guys!

We needed a gaz line to be installed for our new gas range. Jack was so professional and kind. The job was extremely well done! We are pleased and will definitely use him and is company in the future.

Jack's many years of industrial experience sure came into play in dealing with our rather complicated residential central air conditioning installation. The evaporator coil in the air handling unit, installed in the attic began leaking. This unit had become obsolete, and parts were no longer available. Jack managed to get a new coil made to almost fit in the old unit. He then custom fitted the coil into the air handling unit, fitted a new expansion valve and re-charged the system. This saved us from having to tear out the ceiling in our bedroom in order to have a new air handling unit installed. We don't think we could have found another guy to do this type of work, standing on a ladder with half a body inside the attic ceiling hatch in 35 degrees. Thanks to Jack's knowledge and willingness to work up a sweat, we have enjoyed a cool, dry house all summer long. Thank you Jack! Ruta and Eugene
