Paul was consistent and thorough right from the first contact and his quote. He arrived when he said he would and climbed up to assess the restoration and took pictures to show me exactly what needed to be done and quoted a very fair and reasonable price.

He followed up with me and arrived when he said he would and his crew worked to finish the job expertly nd efficiently. Upon completion they took additional pictures to discuss what they had done. Awesome!!

Finally they took great care to clean up so well, one would not know they were there.

Paul was extremely prompt with providing a quote in person, and then completed the job the very next day. He and his partner were able to salvage the face of several original bricks and mortar them in quite seemlessly, so that the fireplace looks like it was all done at the same time. Very polite, fair in price and skilled at their craft.

We required tuckpointing and parging on our early 1900 built home. Paul and Martin did a great job matching the colour of the old mortar to
the new so that the tuckpointing brickwork blended right in. They arrived on time and cleaned up after the work was complete which was much appreciated. Our family and friends need similar work done and we will not hesitate to recommend Damski Masonry and Paul and Martin.

I used Homestars to contact three contractors to get a quote on repairing my chimney and doing some repairs on my garage wall. One contractor didn't even bother to get back to me, the other would only quote on a complete chimney rebuild. Paul responded almost immediately, came over within a couple of days and gave me a quote and complete explanation of what needed to be done. (After he went up on the roof and did a thorough inspection). When it came time to carry out the work I was out of town so Paul sent me pictures of the completed work to let me know everything was taken care of. During the work he noticed a couple of small areas on my house that needed attention and he fixed those as well, at no extra cost (he said he had the mortar already mixed so it was no problem).

Paul & Adrian did a very nice job of preparing the concrete foundation with rebar and then laying the stone steps. We are very pleased with their work ethic and are happily recommending them to others.

Paul and his worker were great to deal with from start to finish. They did the mortar and replaced the chimney caps. Always showed up when he said he would. Did a great job and cleaned up.

Overall, I'm very happy with the work Paul did on my chimney. Even though we couldn't find an exact match for the brick, he was able to blend in some extra bricks I had with the new bricks to make it look seamless. Everything was cleaned up perfectly.

I think the best part of my experience was how honest Paul was with me. A bucket had fallen and damaged a piece of my flagstone walkway. Before I noticed, Paul let me know what happened and fixed it the same day as the chimney repair.

The quality of his work, honesty and fair prices have me thinking about another project for Paul already. I have no hesitation recommending Damski Masonry.

We hired Paul to rebuild our front porch Pillar which was leaning over on an older Toronto home. The Pillar was brick from the ground up to the porch ceiling. Our main concern was finding someone who was VERY competent, as the entire Pillar had to be removed and the porch roof needed to be properly supported. Paul and his team was extremely skilled and competent – they arrived when they said they would arrive, they had the porch secured properly, took down the Pillar and within 2 days had the entire Pillar rebuilt. The outcome was a 10+ job and all at a very fair price. Paul was truly a pleasure to deal with – very professional and extremely skilled at what he does. Highly recommend without hesitation.
