Damski Masonry

I called Damski to come and remove my old chimney to just below the roof line and then roof over it, as I had a leak. He gave me one of the lowest priced quotes and squeezed me in after only a few days, as he had a cancellation. This morning, he showed up bright and early. He and his helper did the work efficiently and cleaned up nicely after completing the job. He was also able to squeeze in a quick repair to some aluminum trim that I had, which was great. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or recommend him. Thanks for doing a great job!

Paul Damski and his company rebuild our chimney, fixed some tuckpointing, and helped us demolish a concrete walkway that was in disrepair. Throughout the process, Paul was responsive, professional, and very courteous with us and with our neighbours.

Other companies that we received quotes from seemed to over-complicate the project, sell us unnecessary services, or not be able to provide a firm timeline for completion of the job. When Paul gave us his quote, he provided us with an honest opinion on the scope of our project and quoted a very fair price for the work. The work was completed ahead of schedule and on budget.

Simply put, this was a perfect interaction and I would recommend Paul strongly and without reservation.

Paul had come out to do a quote on my exterior wall and window sill bricks that have been leaning away from the home. Paul thoroughly explained what had happened and how he will correct it.
We booked an appointment weather permitting, he was able to complete the work while I was at work. When I arrived home, the area was tidy and all work was completed as discussed. I highly recommend Damski Masonry.

I had a simple yet terrible problem with my fireplace. There was a leak in it. I called about 4 contractors and none of them was able to provide me with reasonable cost and explanation on what’s happening. Thanks to this website I found Damski Masonry and Przemek, from the beginning he looked like professional but also he explained to me why this leak happened. He has a great knowledge in what he does. We have recently moved into an older (1953) home in Scarborough and one of the items on the pre-sale inspection was the state of the chimneys. One was in a state of disrepair and could have been considered a safety hazard. As this particular chimney is the one we would use (it's used for the gas fireplace in the basement) it was necessary to get fixed. We called for 3 quotes from different companies and Paul's was the best quote. We booked him for the work and he arrived on time (he was actually 15 minutes early - this is impressive considering the job was in Scarborough and his company base is in Mississauga!!!) and began working. I assumed this would take 2 days. Paul and his co-worker were able to compete the job in ONE day - they cleaned up after themselves, worked hard ALL DAY long and I was happy to say they did an awesome job. I would highly recommend Damski Masonry in the future!! We hope to get Paul back sometime in the spring (or maybe even later this year) to do some other masonry jobs that need to be taken care of.

This review is long overdue. We recently moved into a 30 year house in Oakville. We noticed that significant mortar was missing between some bricks and there were large cracks around windows. Paul came to the house promptly to give a quote and completed the work shortly thereafter.

Top notch work! He worked with one other person. They were finished in 3 hrs and were extremely clean.

Damski Masonry has done some tuckpointing, parging & brick replacement works for me last month. Paul and his colleague have done a good work. He was very prompt with providing his quote as well as in starting and finishing the job. He left the job site quite clean and tidy. His quote was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to recommend him. The only complain I have is that Paul keep getting interrupted by my neighbors who want some minor works done to their house so I need to check my house at least twice to make sure all the works at various locations are completed. However, this show that Paul and his colleague have good workmanship!

Paul was very courteous and professional from the get go...showed up for estimate quickly and was able to schedule the repair in a reasonable time.
