We live in an older split level home. Peter came to see us for an ongoing carpenter ant issue in our laundry room and my daughter's bedroom located above the laundry room. He quickly took care of the problem and reliably returns if we need him for other pest control issues.

I discovered in the guest bedroom yellow jacket bees!!! in February! they were lethargic and moving slowly. I called Peter and he came - diagnosed the problem...saw where the bees were entering my home....sprayed and instantly we saw bees drop dead on my roof. He taped the area thoroughly and said to give it two weeks and if they persist he will return and take a more drastic measure - cutting into soffit. I found Peter through the homestars site, and I'm very glad I did. While my house was being renovated and I was living elsewhere, I had rats move in to the areas that weren't being renovated - to my horror. I had only two weeks until I had to move back in and desparately wanted the problem solved. Peter was very friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable, and even gave me great advice over the phone on our initial call. He was able to come to see the house very quickly, did a thorough walk though of the house and the exterior to figure out where the problems had started, counseled me on traps vs poison, and was able to start the extermination that day. Peter also introduced me to another person who (separately from his fee) fixed the problem on the exterior of the house. Peter kept in contact with me throughout the week, came back to clean up the droppings in the basement and followed up with a final visit before I moved back in to put my mind at ease that the problem was rectified. We were rat-free in four days and able to move back in mostly on schedule. I couldn't have asked for a better help to a help solve a horrifying problem! Thanks Peter!

We managed to bring some bed bugs home from a stay at a hotel in Washington, DC. Fortunately, they were restricted to one bedroom on the top floor. Peter was extremely prompt in coming to assess the situation as soon as I called him. He was very thorough and went through every bedroom in the house to make sure that they had not spread. He gave us a preparation guide to get the area ready for treatment and he came back as soon as we had it ready and treated the area twice. He gave us some after treatment maintenance tips as well. Overall a good experience to get rid of a bad problem.

I spoke to Peter about our mice problem. Peter was pleasant, friendly, courteous and super polite. He is very punctual and promptly return my call.
He placed bait stations and traps into all the places where the mice can enter. He already came back three times and refill the baits. I have noticed huge improvement - mice droppings has reduced drastically. The bait stations and traps are definitely working. Peter promise to come back again to ensure the mice are all gone. We called Power Pest Control Inc. and spoke to Peter about a bedbug problem at our mother's home. We arranged a time for Peter to come to the house and inspect the problem areas. He was on time and performed the inspection in a very thorough and professional manner. He then explained the work that he would do to solve the problem and answered all of our questions. He returned for a follow up inspection and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. In summary, we have been extremely satisfied with Peter's work, professional manner and honesty. Peter came twice to deal with the issue and promised to come back again if necessary. Excellent and courteous service for a widowed senior ( 85 years old). He always responds to call and returns them promptly.

We had mud dauber wasps flying around our house. They don't sting, but they're a nuisance in large numbers. Some of the exterminator companies I spoke to had never even heard of them. Peter knew about them and warned us that because of our many shrubs and plants (good mud dauber habitats, apparently), the wasps might be difficult to get rid of. Spraying might not eradicate them completely, he warned. I asked him to spray anyway, and the mud daubers were gone. This took place at the end of June and we haven't seen a mud dauber since.I would definitely recommend Power Pest Control.
