Joe was recommended to us by a former customer. We had our rugs cleaned and restored a spot that was damaged from fireplace splash. Joe did a great job for us so that we started to love again our 20 year old rugs like day one! He had great professional approach, explained the process with a good attitude and passion to his work. I went into the shop to have a look at rugs. There were many, and most very lovely - great selection. Joe was very helpful in selecting a proper size, and was willing to shift rugs around so that I could view as many as I found interesting. The price I paid was reasonable for a choubi. Also, Joe helped to arrange for me to transport the rug to my apartment. All in all, very pleased with both the quality of the rug, and the service.

I recently took our family room carpet in to be cleaned by Persian Rug Specialist. It was a 10’ x 14’ Chobi, badly stained with red wine, milk and other liquids. The carpet was expertly cleaned to “as new” condition and, at Joe’s suggestion, treated to help prevent subsequent stains from setting. We are very pleased and would highly recommend the service.

Joe was very professional in his approach and explained the entire process thoroughly to us. Our rugs were left behind as part of the purchase of a new home and so we wanted to make sure they could be brought back to life. The previous owner had two small dogs and smoked occasionally inside the house so you can imagine the condition these handmade Chinese rugs were in. Persian Rug Specialists did a great job of cleaning and treating both carpets, they look almost as good as new, and we are very happy with their services. I would definitely recommend them to others looking to bring the beauty out of their rugs.

I had an old, filthy rug with many years of dust and cat vomit residue returned in great condition after cleaning and rug repair. They even repaired a small tear at no extra cost. Would use them again. Convenient location for me and was able to take advantage of their 25% cash and carry cleaning discount.

This company cleans my carpets for a reasonable charge in a timely manner. They pick up and deliver, and give good advice. Recently I found a lovely, small round carpet which I was unable to find elsewhere. The store has an excellent selection of carpets, fun to browse.

Originally I used Persian Rug Specialist since they were close to an area I frequent but after visiting them I was impressed with their explanation of what they could do to restore my 100 year old rug.. It needed much restoration around the perimeter. After the rug was cleaned and repaired it looked as new. The information I was given about the history of the rug I was able to verify in publications I researched. The experience was a pleasure and I have used their services again and recommended them to friends and colleagues.
