An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
My experience with Restoration1 can be described as nothing but positive. I had water damage to my basement from a faulty, leaking dishwasher. I had asked 3 restoration companies for a quote and George from Restoration1 was the first to contact me (within 10 minutes) and advised me he could be at my house within 2 hours to survey the damage. Upon arrival he got right to work as soon as I gave him the go ahead removing the wet drywall and getting the high powered fans and dehumidifiers going to dry out the area. George was easy to contact and came by periodically to check on the progress.
His restoration crew was top notch at getting the basement back to looking better than it was previously. The crew was extremely clean, friendly and courteous. They worked with my insurance company the entire time and made the process really seemless.
I was so impressed with their work that George was my first call when my company had flood damage to our building this past summer during the Burlington rain storm. When I advised George of my situation he told me that he would be more than happy to help and could be at our premises within the hour. George and his crew battled the torrential rain & flooded streets and came out on a holiday Monday to stop a leaking roof and remove a significant amount of water from our building which helped avert what could have been a much larger disaster.
